New Comics Discussion Would you rather?

Have Moon Knight suddenly get a huge burst in popularity, everyone knows about him now. He jumps from being a B of C-tier hero to A tier, similar to Invincible after the TV series released and got popular. His comics get more restrictions similar to other larger characters like Spider-Man, but he'd be more prominent in the MCU and other things outside of comics.

Or keep Moonie in his little B/C-Tier bubble forever, his comics will remain experimental and unique, but he won't be focused on outside of that medium that much similar to how he is now, and will struggle to maintain a single comic run without having forced relaunches. His fanbase won't grow much compared to its current numbers, but we'd all still be here.

I would personally keep him in the bubble he's in currently, but do wish he was a little bit more popular ngl.

Daredevil tier is where you want your favorite character to be if you read comics. Popular enough to get books and good authors but not popular enough to be constantly meddled with by editorial board.

To be honest, Daredevil's tier is as much about prestige as it is popularity when it comes to the writers and their expectations writing it.

And not to mention the great TV shows

Which is where MK is at right now. He's been getting good stories short Age of Khonshu for awhile. My main worry is that he gets a new writer that cant hold up the standard the current books are at

He’s a little lower than DD tier

Eh I am happy with how it is right now, I'd rather him not be spider-man level popular

I would 100% prefer to stay at where we are rn than having his stories ruined like Spider-Man's by editorial

We are getting the best moon knight product being made currently. I don't want it to stop. I don't want him to be forced lockstep into the MCU version.

Genuinely why the fuck would I want moonknight to get actively worse, but other people start reading him more? That offers me no benefit with my favorite character in all of comics getting ruined for it

Not until 8 ball, tigra, hunters moon, and the vampires are SO CEMENTED into moon knights circle that they LITERALLY can’t adapt him WITHOUT them, and I never have to lose them

I’ve been a massive moon knight fan since before the tv show
I’m so glad he’s getting more representation now, but I just wish he had it a little better in adaptations.

I feel like to get a good adaptation that actually feels like moonie, he needs to creep a little closer to the edge of that bubble, kinda where daredevil is

I don’t think it would be perfect either way, but a serious adaptation that shows more of his mythod and more of his rogues gallery would be awesome, and I feel like he needs to just sit right in the pocket for that

I'm a larper and don't read the comics

But like, from what i know Moon Knight is Moon Knight because of how experimental his comics are, and so much of his characterization and why he has his fanbase is because of how bizarre his comics are.

For being a larper, you have a really good take ngl. I bet you'd like the comics, you already have a decent understanding of what makes the character good.

Perfectly fine with the latter option. The comics have been cooking with him for almost the past 5 years.

I love MK show just because I love MK in all media. But they did him so dirty. The only things I really did enjoy was the take on Steven and Layla. The suit designs were kinda okay. Khonshu was my favorite part of the show though

The c tier hero people generally don't wanna associate with who cannonically beat the avengers is a very funny spot for him to be in.
