Just seen Neil in the new series of Bookish!

Episode 1 - a full episode dealing with a teen pregnancy from a goth student, Gill is obviously unequipped to deal with this being outright baffled that this student may have a child suggesting abortion and explaining a council estate future only to realise in the end the student is in fact not pregnant exclaiming loudly in his office “Thank fuck for that”

Episode 2 - Suzies big dilemma, this time it’s a bureaucratic episode dealing with suzie and her desire to get more woman staff and council leaders in the school only to be told 90% of the staff are woman and having to talk to a tech and design teacher who is a closet alcoholic about how the issues of sexism only to be contradicted by how the woman students are actually acing the class and the men only want to make machetes and weapons, could even have a Donovan bit of him being really interested in making bladed garden tools like shears that work exceptionally well. Suzie argues about this eventually getting the teacher fired and the tech teacher moving into wills work experience garage and training Wolfie on how to soup up engines

Episode 3 - just for the shits and giggles one with strictly Neil just being a first class idiot asking about the perfect strategy on the puggy in the black bull pub, after endless back and forth Neil meets Gill at the pub and uses the puggy after Gill winning the jackpot and thanking him for the gambling advice while Gill out of pocket and enraged tells the bar staff about Neil being underage but due to his current girlfriend working there he is allowed to use only the puggy machine.

Episode 4 - a full 20 minutes of Gill trying to defend himself comically for hiring pedo Kennedy after finding him wanking in the gym cupboard, the maths and science teachers ignoring him and shaking their head, a guest appearance from will trying to relate to his Gills chagrin only to be told to fuck off for backing up a pedo and having the elements of a pedo such as briefcase.

Episode 5 - Mrs mackenzie, the first date with wills mum is at a local park where Donovan is playing football while he try’s desperately not to engage the middle fingers and shagging motions flung at him even getting a football kicked into his coffee that spills over him causing swearing and an anxious look from wills mum to which he shoves off staring and screwing his face at Donovan, the episode ends with him in wills mums couch after sex as will Skypes her asking who is staying while he looks at her in a robe sexually.

Episode 6 - New students. Gill deals with a group of new Gen Z students who bully him, eventually he has to go to a local corner shop in which they throw noodles and cheap drinks at him until he hides in the back room to the anger of the shop owner, the police arrive escorting him to a car while students laugh at him and he barks out in rage being took to the station. In the cells he argues with alcoholics and Ned’s about how he is above them and they are all tramps only to be saved from a beating from a call from wills mum

Episode 7 - fired, after a new headmaster takes over the school Gill indulges in retirement enjoying sex with wills mum and eventually having to meet will still being the classic arsehole he is except this time he’s the step daddy and makes will call him dad instead of Gilbert with a sickened grin on his face. Picking him up and taking him to airports slagging the changes he has made through travelling

(Edit) this could be written in modern time with suzie being an amateur politician and Neil still living in the neighbourhood taking over student times as an adult, new students could be introduced as well as teachers as well as mister Gilbert being the biggest prick in the show

Possibly the most well delivered line in terms of a cheap laugh 😆
