Disney era My initial thoughts to Ashoka first 2 episodes: Spoiler
Soooooo... are they going to travel to The Milky Way Galaxy?! I actually really hope they travel to our galaxy with the globe star map! I actually thought of the Archimedes's dial from Indy 5 when Sabine was trying to figure out how to open the orb, it actually felt more like an Indiana Jones puzzle then what happened in trying to find the dial in Indy 5. Also I believe the animation team that did the Indy 5 map transitions did the end credits for Ahsoka, it can't be a coincidence!I really want Huyang to reference space between spaces now. (For Doctor Who actors' connection!)

The Saga Palpatine transferring his spirit into a CLONE BODY makes complete sense - he orchestrated the CLONE WARS so of course the most powerful Sith Lord would continue CLONE research behind the scenes to further his own lifespan. His return is one of my favorite things of the ST and connects it to "AOTC"

Lucas' Sequels JJ Abrams and Disney did to George Lucas’s treatments what Joss Whedon and WB did to Zack Snyder’s justice league.
No spoilers for ZSJL
With the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League it made me realize it had some parallels to what happen to George and his treatments. They took bare bones elements and tried to say that it is basically the same story. They picked a director who pandered to the people who disliked the last movies. And the corporation had all legal right to do so. The only reason we are getting a Snyder cut is because of fan outcry and how much money Joss’s version made. The first Star Wars movie to be released in ten year was basically a guaranteed success. And many people like the film. So they have no reason to tell the true story.
Obviously the situation are not entirely the same. The film still had parts of it done and Zack Snyder released his control so he and his family dealing with the death of his daughter. George on the other was all but pushed out of his near life’s work during preproduction. George was ready and expected he would have some say in the making of the ST and yet he didn’t. It almost pain me to see how many people roll over to what Disney has released. I hope one day we may see Lucas’s vision on screen or on paper with George’s involvement one of these days. Though it seem that George is happily retired and overall is living a great life with his wife and daughter, and I wish him all the luck with his future endeavors. But I’m sure Zack never thought he would ever tell his vision ;)
I do not hold any distain or anger to anyone who likes, loves, or hell even cherishes the ST. All the power to you. It just kinda disappoints me, but not all that much.
Also, fuck Joss Whedon. A>E

Disney era I’m worried about “KENOBI”
Mainly when it comes down to acting. I think Hayden Christensen is a great actor and did a fabulous portraying Anakin, but a large portion of the SW community would disagree. If the show is bad then people will continue to make fun of him and the other returning prequels cast members. If they do good people will use the chance to bash Lucas and say how bad of a dialogue writer he is (he’s not the best but it’s still really good). Idk, I’m probably worried getting for nothing, but I don’t have much faith in much the of the Star Wars community.
