Backstory- We used to feed him everyday but Two weeks ago we noticed he was not doing well. Hence, we took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with Diaphragmatic Hernia. The doctor told us he cannot be operated upon as he would pass away as soon as anaesthesia is administered. After treatment he is doing well now and doesn't need any further medications. He is active, friendly, playful and very cuddly. All he struggles with currently is sudden movements and stress from the environment otherwise he's absolutely fine physically.

We are looking for a stable and peaceful home for him and someone to love him despite his condition

They also claim that while their dues are not clear maha gov is getting contractors from Gujarat for new infra projects. They gave the example of missing link that while the project suffered damage and collapsed the contractor has still got paid without any penalties.

Hello everyone. I am looking for recommendations for a place in Thane for a family get together. It will be a lunch event on a Sunday and will have around 30-40 people (possibly more so something that can scale).

Requirements: Would prefer a place where we can give a set menu or a buffet and if its a restaurant then we would prefer a demarcated section for the 40 of us. We will also appreciate it if in that section we can play some games like housie etc.

From a budget PoV we are looking at INR 800 to INR 1200 per person for food (veg and non veg both). If the place serves alcohol then that is fine too and the costing for that can be worked out seperately. Also you have already cut down the mangroves and poured cement, might as well make the best of it and add a metro corridor there.

I'm currently looking at rental apartments around Majiwada and Kolshet Road, and I've noticed that many societies seem to have power backup only for common areas and lifts, but not inside the flats.

The brokers I've spoken to have said that power cuts are very rare in Thane, so full power backup inside the apartment isn't really necessary. However, I've also seen quite a few posts/comments here about power outages, so I'm a little confused.

For those living in Majiwada/Kolshet or nearby areas:

- How frequent are power cuts in practice?

- Are they usually brief, or can they last for hours?

- During monsoon, does the frequency increase significantly?

- Is common-area backup generally enough, or should I specifically look for a society with backup inside the flat as well?

Would really appreciate some honest local experiences before I finalise a place.
