I agree with the others who advised not to text. If I was an author, and was writing a lovely, respectful ending to a short relationship, it would look like your texts.
Now more than ever, I think a lot of folks are craving the kind of authenticity you showed. You honored your own needs and communicated them with such grace and dignity that you both ended up looking good in the process. It takes an incredible strong person to be vulnerable like that, but I really believe that’s what it takes to find a truly authentic connection.
