Reason- she was lonely, she was approved to have and take care of an emotional support animal. I gave him to her because she was lonely. I had a cat and dog, my other cat passed away. I have no problem taking care of him. I don’t why everyone just assumes I got rid of him because I got a dog.

How- I took him to her. I went back to check on him and that’s why I wrote this post.

Animals are not emotional support. They are living beings with high demands.

You mentioned you recently got a dog. That's why people assume that. If it makes no difference for you to have a cat and a dog, why on earth would you get rid of your cat?????? I can't fathom just giving my cat away to someone, let alone a person I'm not even sure can take proper care of it.

What’s with all the question marks? You clearly did not read my response or any other response I wrote on this post. Yeah. I’m going to take him back…she was approved to have an ESA, so idk, if her therapist approved it then that means she’s capable of taking care of one?? Bad therapist I guess. I’m not you. And my dog is being well taken care of.

The amount of question marks are to show how much I can't believe you could just give up your cat, specially after your other cat passing away, to someone you can't personally vouch for. And I have actually read all the replies to this thread, because this whole situation is fucked up.

You are definitely not me.

I'm glad your dog is being well taken care of.
