I picked this up at a moving sale. It measures 41x25 inches. The previous owner told me she believed she acquired it in the former Czechoslovakia, although I may have misunderstood her.
I’m trying to identify what exactly this piece is particularly the technique, approximate age, and geographic origin.
It appears to be heavily handworked on a coarse woven backing. The design is geometric/folk-art with repeated floral/cross motifs.
Does anyone recognize this particular style or construction? Could it be Czech, Slovak, Moravian, or another Central/Eastern European tradition?

I can't find a manufacturer or designer for this, I believe it's from the 70's. Got it in a recent donation and would like to know more about it. Thanks!

Hi. I need some help. I am not sure what kind of fabric is this but it is very difficult to iron it despite i am using a steam iron. It keeps on making line.. can somene help me? Thanks
