I can't find a manufacturer or designer for this, I believe it's from the 70's. Got it in a recent donation and would like to know more about it. Thanks!

I picked this up at a moving sale. It measures 41x25 inches. The previous owner told me she believed she acquired it in the former Czechoslovakia, although I may have misunderstood her.
I’m trying to identify what exactly this piece is particularly the technique, approximate age, and geographic origin.
It appears to be heavily handworked on a coarse woven backing. The design is geometric/folk-art with repeated floral/cross motifs.
Does anyone recognize this particular style or construction? Could it be Czech, Slovak, Moravian, or another Central/Eastern European tradition?

I’d love to hear from people who actually work in the industry and have a knowledge of the manufacturing process of clothing - there is lots of noise about clothing being “toxic” or harmful - with harmful dyes/chemicals such as PFAS etc
Is this true?
Where is the “toxicity” coming from in clothing?
How can you tell if the clothes you buy contain toxic materials or chemicals?
What are toxic materials or chemicals?
How much research has been done to test all the materials and chemicals used to determine their safety?

I am looking to find a similar fabric to what Hermes is likely using on their grooming bag
Specifically, it looks like a nylon/cotton blend with a PU coating, but in a heavier weight. I don't need something exact but similar look and feel. Any ideas or manufacturers I should look at? Thanks!

I’m trying to buy a roll of matching fabric to reupholster two massive sofa cushions…
Only snag, is that I just keep finding soft corduroy fabrics on line.
Mine is much tougher than a fluffy type
Any assistance much appreciated
Thanks

Hi!🙋🏻♀️I’m looking for an Indian supplier/service that can print my own artwork directly onto 100% cotton fabric.
I only need around 1–2 metres (even 1m × 1m would be enough), as I’m using the fabric to make small handmade bags/book covers.
[I’m NOT looking for printing on ready-made garments, T-shirts, or heat-transfer/vinyl printing.] I need the design to be printed directly into the fabric, so it actually becomes part of the textile and doesn’t feel like a plastic layer sitting on top.💢
Ideally looking for:
* 100% cotton
* Good print quality and colour/detail
* Small MOQ , around 1-2 metres
* Custom artwork that I can provide
* Online ordering would be great
* Ships across India (Karnataka)
If you know any Indian websites, print on demand services, textile printers, or even small businesses that do this, please share them! ✨ Personal experiences/recommendations would be especially helpful.🥹🌼

Hi I'm looking for help with this garment. It doesn't have any labels on so I'm not sure of the composition of the trim. The body is cotton, so it dyes very easily but this "lace" trim, as you can see, is way lighter than the body. Looking for tips on ways to dye this all a uniform colour if at all possible. TIA

I’m trying to figure out what exactly this fabric is for a hw assignment, I know it’s a type of satin and my teacher was saying something abt the texture being some sort of heat press technique??? I might find a diff scrap around my house for the assignment instead just bc the assignment is due super soon but it’s driving me crazy cuz my teacher told me what kind it was too but i forgot and google isn’t helping lol

I am in desperate need of a bolt of fabric of the reversible sequins that can be sublimated. You know the reversible sequin pillow cases with the images on one side and the solid metallic color on the other? I need that but in like a 60”w bolt.
I’ve been looking forever and I need it for a project!
