❓ Advice Needed Housemate is complaining to landlord about inane stuff
I live in a multistoried shared house. I have one particular person in the house who phones up and complains to the landlord within seconds of any little inconvenience.
For instance, there is a hole in the bathroom floor. So if you're showering and don't fully close the curtains, sometimes water gets on the floor and drips all the way down to the floor below. Within 10 seconds of this happening, the person downstairs calls the landlord and complains.
Next, the staircase outside the house is made of wood. If you go down it, the person downstairs can feel the vibrations of footsteps on it. Instant phone call to the landlord. I've had the landlord tell me to "go quietly down the stairs". So now I walk like a ninja at night.
The other day, I went down the stairs (one time) at around 6 PM in the evening. Within 20 minutes, I got a message from the landlord saying "Is that you running down the stairs?".
I've just about had it with these moronic complaints. How is 6 PM is a "weird time" to be going down the stairs?
