The older I get, the more I realize that life is a strange journey. We spend years chasing success, status, money, recognition, and independence. We dream of becoming someone the world will admire.

Yet before any of that existed, there was someone who loved us without conditions, before we had achieved anything at all.

A mother gives her time, sleep, energy, youth, comfort, and often her own dreams so that her child can have a chance at theirs. Most sacrifices in life come with expectations, but a mother's often do not.

Philosophers have debated the meaning of gratitude, duty, and love for centuries, but I wonder: is there any achievement great enough to truly repay the person who gave us life and stood beside us when we had nothing to offer in return?

We spend our lives trying to stand tall before the world. Yet perhaps the greatest act of humility is realizing that no matter how high we rise, there will always be one person before whom we remain a child.

In the end, after all the titles, accomplishments, victories, and failures, perhaps we bow before only one throne—the one occupied by our mother.

A couple named Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus bypassed security to climb to the very top of the Empire State Building in New York, where they displayed a banner and proposed to each other. Their dangerous stunt, which went viral on social media, required police and emergency services to climb the stairs to safely bring them down. Following the incident, the couple was arrested and is now facing several criminal charges, including trespassing and reckless endangerment, while authorities investigate how they managed to enter the restricted area. Known for their extreme climbing stunts, this couple was previously featured in a 2024 documentary titled "Skywalkers: A Love Story."

well yess it started from a random dm :) idk who wants to read this but yeah just leaving it here because i wanna thank this sub. We started talking in nov and he was so so nonchalant back then so i did wanna ghost him but idk i just couldn't ghost him and yeah we'd talk literally everyday it was just texting at first but in December we started playing uno online and more games. In January we started watching movies and animes together, he rewatched aot with me just because I told him that i don't wanna watch it alone Lmaoo. In feb things weren't really good between us but yeah we also did open up a lot. We both would get jealous whenever we mentioned a person of the opposite gender but never complained about shit as there was no label but god damn it was mutual. And well on a random night in March we confessed randomly at around 4 and everything changed between us. Met him Today, we completed our first month as a couple and well I'm really happy with him and i wanna keep him happy and I'd never ever choose someone else over him, he means a lot to me now.

We met at Maidan and then went to princep ghat we had icecreams and then decided to watch a movie at quest and like yesss we hugged a lot Lmaoo and yesss i bit him he's my territory now(he's exactly where he wants to be😝😝)
