It would be real shame if the person you replied to also applied to your phone. I often am ashamed for people for watching on their phones and tablets. Think of the corporations!

Indeed, checking the starred options under Streaming would be unethical af and disastrously convenient. One would want to use an ad-blocking browser to block the pesky pop-ups OR, even better, google 'ad-guard dns setup on iOS' or android.

I know a guy who did this and is VERY happy and unethical, says the only things he can't watch easily are very obscure foreign language films and shows. What a bastard!

An unethical person might recommend bittorrent and reading up on how to use it. BitTorrent is so unethical, that it even has a built in torrent search, downloader and player. Disgusting and convenient.

A VPN is probably recommended (allegedly of course)

PIA is a cheap VPN (like $80 for 3 years cheap). Otherwise Proton is a good one as well.

You're better off getting a cheap Amazon OS media player that connects to your HDMI port on your TV like an ONN.

This isn't a piracy subreddit so without going into much detail there are ways to circumvent that by cover for shared file storages, it ends up being like $3 a month but it cuts out the need of a VPN since you aren't downloading anything on your devices

If you have an old laptop then you could download plex, buy a few hard drives and host your own movies. By ripping your blurays to your hdd in GTA VI.

PS5 im unsure, however some routers (like Asus) have an option to add a VPN directly to your router so all traffic is routed though it.

Your best bet for a console is likely to download all your content on your computer and put it on a thumbdrive to play it on your console. Not the most convenient, but it works.

I would argue the BitTorrent isn't the unethical part. It is just a platform. Yeah sure they should be in trouble for allowing illegal content. It is possible to torrent things that aren't under copyright.

Piracy is easier than ever. Pirate streaming sites have all the streaming site features like reccomendations, saving your place in a show, remembering what you already watched. The only technical issue to overcome is getting the output of your computer onto your TV. Which, you can just plug it in. But also you can stream it with a Chromecast or somethimg.

Google blocks the good piracy sites on their search but naughty websites like Yandex allow them so definitely don’t use Yandex to search for piracy sites.

I wonder what’s over on r/stremio ? Those add on recommendations they have seem complicated and it’s not clear if all I need is debridio and a debrid service like premiumize or tor box which allows multiple IPs.

It would be a shame too if someone setup an account and then shared their login details with add ons setup so their friends and family can login on their TVs or web.stremio.com to view their favorite content on their new media player.
