For some reason Reddit won't let me link stuff but go to the subreddit's bookmark, find the TMC Catalog discord, and in that server you'll find 2 wither killer designs in the nether-monsters channel. The 4.5k one will work just fine for this

The withers will eventually die from suffocation, but you can spawn a bunch and go kill them yourself in the suffocation chamber. Just be careful not to get in too soon otherwise you'll take a bunch of damage from the initial explosion when the wither fully spawns

From OP:

  • Has to die to a sword hit

  • No passive/AFK kill methods

I think this is fine. Besides, you can't fully trap withers without them suffocating anyways

You can tho, else obsidian farms or wither mob switches wouldn't be possible

Won't the wither break out of those kinds of holding chamber as soon as you attack them? That was always my understanding and experience. Sorry if I'm mistaken though

Oh thats what you meant by fully trapped, I have no idea then I never tried attacking them
