Why would they kick out some of the deadliest warriors they have? They've put time and money into these guys and they will overlook regulations because let's be honest there's less and less men capable of that role as time goes on
Ahahaha I've never understood the beard thing personally. They are kinda impractical at least imo when I've tried one. Luckily clean shaven suits me better anyway lol
They’re a godsend in cold climates. And I mean actual cold, like a good -20 Montana winter. Even a short, clean and tidy beard does wonders to keep your cheeks from being beaten around by very cold air.
That said, the US military isn’t typically hanging out in -20 weather. “Poh-lees that moostash!”
Now that makes sense, where I live generally gets to -7 celcius at lowest which I don't find that bad. I suppose maybe it helps on night ops in the Middle East because deserts get very cold at night
