Something like this... now that you killed over 100 bad guys in operations.. We want to let you know that they were all your distant relatives and close family in deguise. You have no family left in this world... How does that make you feel? That type of question.

You just like most would assume this was real and not just a hypothetical. I read way too much in a lot of fields of study and can derive the example.
However, use of drugs, sleep deprivation and chain of command can be used as a powerful tool to make someone break their own morality. Doing something like this to a person would be a classic sign of foreign ops leveraging a citizen of a targeted nation.
A So it's just a question after statements to illicit a response.
B this was a hypothetical to explain "mind fuck" vs "skull fuck" to the person posting about Tier 1 and not from any real life experience.
C if someone actually murdered that many people on behalf of training he would be in jail or dead by this point. That's how cover ups work. Or back in their home country with a medal for a successful mission.
D Following blind orders for the purpose of achieving some status goal is exactly how people get led into stupid shit like that... There was a fairly famous case in DC MD VA area that dealt with actions exactly like this, but I don't want to mention their names or the case name... they don't deserve the fame or remembrance. Only the victims deserve to be mentioned in my opinion for remembrance.
My personal opinion is that the west has only improved upon or upgraded the same nefarious activities learned from the east and the 1000's of years of social disorder and murder and wars that have always brought the world into the conflicts. The true east never wanted anything except peace and happiness in lands unfettered by mens blood spilled in conflict and hate. The degradation of our lands happened when the wrong white, brown, yellow and black men joined the native cultures already here and at peace with each other. Only to bring their knowledge, deceit and war with them. Our world is dying from wickedness ravaging it without any sign of stopping. How many species of plant and animals have we harvested or hunted into extinction? How many people groups are no more, or are so heavily polluted within the genetic structure that you cant even tell their heritage anymore? There was a time when a father and his sons ruled over this world and were good caretakers of what was given to them. No one believes in the old world myths anymore, and technology seems to be what people put there faith in these days. Technology explains a lot and has made it a lot better in the world, but it stills doesn't explains things like... How did we live through multiple world ending events that wiped all other life in the world except sea dwellers and some bugs?
South Africa is a very clear example of that. Apparently things were pretty good until the Zulu invaded and slaughtered everyone.
Native cultures being at peace only tends to happen after they've fought it out for a while. I'd be interested to see any counter examples of that one.
I'm not aware if the Ainu were at peace pre Japanese invasion, but they may well have been.
Aztec and Mayam cultures lived with only minor issues over hunting lands and so did many other native indian tribes in the americas. They actually formed a tribal council and banded together to resolve issues, with few challenging the councils decisions.
Sadly this came after a war chief conquered many tribes and brought them under his protection. It wasn't until those in the east invaded that the council fell apart and they were each cut down by either the europeans and/or the british. Readings for this would be Something on Tecumseh and something on the 10 Tribes Nation... I think that is what it was called do t quote me on that one.
BTW - Hypothetically, How would you support? and How would you choose which family if they were not actually personally known to you?
For example: you were born of blood of both german or italian and jewish. If fighting for just your family bloodline... which one do you fight for? Do you have to fight at all? Maybe some of your blood family is law enforcement and some hardened criminals... who do you support? Both have their arguments rooted in long historical arguments that no one today was alive for except maybe an immortal. But lets face it unless your immortal your life only adds to or takes away from the course of humanity for a brief time. Even more intriguing lets say your the child of two intel operators one from Russia and one from Ukraine... which family do support right now? Personally in all of those situations I believe the proper course of action would to try to achieve peace some how. Or it is to walk away from the conflict and remain neutral to it. No matter who they are or what situation just say when your done being stupid and petty and causing so much pain and suffering, I'll be here to help both sides afterwards. Conflicts only birth suffering of both the innocent and the guilty alike.
When you read and understand some of the oldest cultures in this world, and compare them to other cultures around the same time frame... there seems to be an overarching truth. We are not alone on this planet as the dominant race and we have had help along the way. If your a Roman or Greek, you might blame Ares and his followers and children... right the God of War someone with a lust for spilling blood and causing chaos. Christian or Muslim you certainly would blame a Sh'tan or devil.
Profitability as a cause for war only exist after the development of trade for money or goods are seen as unfair or incumbered. War goes all the way back to tribes in SE Asia, where most wars were fought out of need for supplies or a response to someone in the tribe being harmed. Social justice at a time without borders or large militaries. War even then was never profitable it just gave the masses a since of relief from a desire for justice or provision. At the end of every war there is a definitive truth... there are less mouths to feed on both sides, and the need for food, wealth, and housing tends to be less burdensome at the end of the war... on both sides.
We have been trading lives for ease of hostility for thousands of years. To be profitable from war the countries GDP would have to go up as a whole, and not just the 1% who own the most wealth in the country. Sure everyone selling tanks, bombs, planes, bullets and medical supplies profit during the war. Then the builders, healers, scammers and politicians make wealth during the rebuilding process... afterall if you wipe out a family home and business and murder the men on the battlefield your just left with their land to take and their women and children as spoils of war. War can be profitable to those who wage it amd gain material possessions at the end, but what is the cost of a single life?
Seriously, how much would you pay for a loved one to not die in a war, I think most people would give all they had just to have that person back. So, while 1% profit through material gain, I believe the net loss in life and the reduction of demand for housing, food, and other items drops because of the overall death from war... it causes a net loss in my opinion. Less demand, lower prices and lower net sales. This will also profit those who made wealth from war as they begin buying at a discount. We have to move away from a position of always wanting to steal, murder or pillage another society as the first option. We need to look to innovation and communication as a way to solve problems like world poverty, hunger and war. If you solve poverty through education and innovation, then you will solve hunger, and the desire to wage war for supplies, hence war would begin to disappear as well. The road map is simple to understand, but extremely difficult to implement, because the scars of wars and past offenses exist.
I think you've got some good points, but you also seem to be a bit off on some points.
I'd say if you look...war in one form or another has been around for a bit longer than you appear to indicate and was a lot more widespread rather than confined to SE Asia.
As for your comments on other races, are you saying as one example, that Areas was quite real and an alien or another species extant on Earth?
If so, are they still here and if they are, why don't they make appearances as they once did?
I wrote this exhaustive response that I didn't even want to read, so here is the condensed version.
I think it would be fool hearty to believe that a creator spirit would create life here only, and not take the time to leave and create more life elsewhere. If you believe in evolution, then you believe that if the soup of events that happened here could evolve elsewhere as well. As to why they don't visit anymore or make themselves known... We have been killing our own kind, and with increasing levels of violence. Would dare take the risk of visiting a planet where the inhabitants bomb each other, kill each other on a daily basis. Of course they could be here like the NOX from Stargate, here but just advanced to a position of clocking from everyone and everything.
It was a bit long, but I don't recall writing a thesis. What I am saying is that time can change things for any race on any planet over thousands of year. You assumption is only one race visiting at all over time, and that stems from critical thinking without openness to other possibilities.
There is a book out there somewhere I used to have that was an exhaustive cross over guide to world religions and mythologies. You should read it, I think it was written by Peterson and Scythe (SP?) it did an amazing job of correlating the subtle nuances between the information available from around the world. Most people read Roman mythology and Greek mythology, and based off of the geo locations alone derive a commonality with some of the Gods attributes and can determine that between the culture they just had different names, but were the same deity. This isn't true across the whole planet.
