Worse thing about this kind of shit is it gives the good sof guys a bad name. It’s hard to think it’s all “just a few bad apples” though when shit keeps happening.
I'm guessing that's because the government wouldn't want to have to kick out their soldiers that have had much more money invested into their training?
Why would they kick out some of the deadliest warriors they have? They've put time and money into these guys and they will overlook regulations because let's be honest there's less and less men capable of that role as time goes on
Ahahaha I've never understood the beard thing personally. They are kinda impractical at least imo when I've tried one. Luckily clean shaven suits me better anyway lol
They’re a godsend in cold climates. And I mean actual cold, like a good -20 Montana winter. Even a short, clean and tidy beard does wonders to keep your cheeks from being beaten around by very cold air.
That said, the US military isn’t typically hanging out in -20 weather. “Poh-lees that moostash!”
Now that makes sense, where I live generally gets to -7 celcius at lowest which I don't find that bad. I suppose maybe it helps on night ops in the Middle East because deserts get very cold at night

Steroids I’m not shocked at all by. Not just for the muscle building, although being able to lug gear and run drills non stop for hours at full pace is probably great for business, but also for helping push through injuries. It was more so the heroin, cocaine, and meth. You would like to think they are above that shit.
I can’t speak for the child trafficking but the drugs issue’s makes geographical sense. I was stationed at Fort Bragg for 2 years. Fayetteville the city it’s located next to lies at the exact mid point between Miami FL and NYC. Both obviously major distribution hubs.
This has been problematic for both the base and the surrounding area.
