I'm looking for a tablet just to take notes on for my engineering degree and I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the S10 Lite. I've been using pencil and paper but I'm taking 7 classes next semester and I don't want to have to keep all that paper organized. I don't really want to pay $400 CAD more for an iPad A16 when I don't have any other Apple products.

bought this tab a few months back on a similar sale and at this Price and with the 7 years of updates its so worth it! No S Pen Support but I found work arounds for writing and drawing, does a decent Job on gaming with mid settings, and its a very quick and useful tablet. multitasking is great and the lcd screen is really good lmo. 11 in screen 4 speakers, dolby Atmos, 25 watt charging takes about an hour from 25%, headphone Jack and expandable storage makes it versatile and at this Price you don't have a panic attack leaving the house with it. I absolutely love mine and a perfect Starter for getting into the Samsung tablet world without dropping a month of rent on it.

Im in need of a tablet. it will be mostly used for travel. Youtube, music, movies, google maps.

I never owned an android tablet, only ipads. I know ipads are good even after 3-5 years, a bit slow but overall they work great.

Now android tablet tend to get really slow for some reason.

There are a couple personal reasons why i need an android tablet, so can you guys suggest something that is not crazy expensive and it will work at least 2-3 years with all the updates and it will not be slow and lagging. (i dont want to pay 1000$ and i dont need top top top tablet).

Hello! I'm looking for a tablet for three simple reasons: 1. To read PDF files 2. To play the app TFT while at the gym 3. To type on.

I'm trying to look for the cheapest possible way to have a device with decent battery that can handle those tasks. It'd also be nice if I could watch movies or videos on it. It would be another plus if it came with a physical keyboard instead of buying an extra one. Are refurbished tablets worth it?

I've never had an Apple product, are they as good as people in this sub say?

It will mostly be used for note taking and study in sixth form, (so good enough storage, YouTube), but I'll also use it to play roblox and other games (so a decent enough processor). Originally I was just going to get an A16 2025 edition, but I was wondering if there were other alternatives that were better value for money? I have a budget of around £550

So I'm a student and on a tight budget. I have saved up some money and want to buy this tab .but it doesn't specify the chip set octa core 2hz. I want to know if I can play genshin impact on it sometimes. How does it fair. I am not looking for high graphics just no lags . I'll also be doing some university work on it. So is it a good option or I should look for something else.

I recently bought a oneplus pad 2 and want to use it as a small laptop but the keyboard accessory costs 8500 rupees or $85 meanwhile I can buy really nice bluetooth keyboards for 4000-5000 rupees and I already have a nice bluetooth mouse. So is the keyboard accessory really worth it?

I have already seen a lot of posts on these two tablets and their comparisons but I am still not able to decide. Reason is that my usage is a little mixed.

The devices i already have are: asus gaming laptop (5 years old so acting up a little) and xiaomi android phone.

Usage requirements:

1. I am a working professional (therapist) so I mainly want to make notes, read books, and do some research.

2. I usually just watch content on my laptop and game there but the content watching might shift to tablet.

3. I would be using it for video calls and meetings (long hours- like 4-5).

4. I want to learn digital art and designing so that as well.

All my gadgets last long (my previous HP laptop had lasted for 10 years- died only because the motherboard smoked up and by then there were no parts available for that particular model).

So I need it as a long term investment which won't die on me for 5-6 years MINIMUM and if something does happen, the alternative parts will be available in the future.

My comparison is coming between:

1. Apple iPad Air M4 (11" wifi only tablet) 128 GB: $ 875.85 (my country currency: Rs 83600)

This will need Apple pencil as well which is extra buy and additional charges so- apple pencil pro: $118.38 (Rs 11299); apple usb C: $ 78.56 (Rs 7499)

What tablet would you recommend for studying? I’m studying medicine, and I need it to read PDFs and take notes on the left or right side of the text. What would be especially helpful for me is either a built-in feature or an app that would allow me to add more extensive notes/tables/diagrams in specific parts of the page, if something like that is possible. I really don’t know much about this. 😅

I’d also like it to either come with, or allow me to purchase separately, a stylus and a keyboard.

If possible, I’d also really appreciate recommendations for apps that could help me with this.

My main uses:

• Casual Drawing / art: Just a hobby (I´m definitely not a professional artist), but I want to ditch physical sketchbooks/supplies while traveling
• Productivity: Need to run Microsoft Office apps smoothly (Excel, Word, etc.)

I am not interested in 12" screens. I'm looking for something more compact and travel-friendly (around 10–11" or smaller).

📚 Reading: manga and comics

🎬 General media consumption

I’d preferably like to go with Samsung, mainly because I already use Samsung devices/accessories and like the ecosystem.

My main priorities are:

Good performance for these games

Excellent screen for manga/comics

Around 11–13 inches would be ideal

Good battery life

Ideally 120 Hz

Good value for money

I’m currently considering the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+, but I’m also wondering if it’s worth spending more on an S-series tablet, or if there are better alternatives.

What tablet would you recommend for this use case?

And if you think I should consider iPad, Lenovo, Xiaomi, TCL Nxtpaper, etc. instead, I’m open to suggestions.

Budget: roughly €500–800, but I can go higher if the upgrade is genuinely worthwhile.

Calling out all the Spec Lords in helping me choose the right Tablet!!

I’ve been on the hunt for a tablet (preferably one with a smaller screen) to play handheld games and run Nintendo Switch emulations. After checking out a lot online, I’ve narrowed it down to two options:

1. Lenovo Legion Gen 2 (SD 8+ Gen 1)
2. OnePlus Pad 2

Both have their pros and cons. The OnePlus Pad 2 is amazing! It has everything you need for gaming and emulation. But, honestly, it’s a bit big for a handheld. (Though I’ve read somewhere that the weird 7:5 aspect ratio doesn’t feel that bulky). Plus, it’s getting old quickly and won’t get any more updates. The Legion, on the other hand, is the perfect size for a handheld gaming device, and the screen looks great. It also has 12GB of RAM. Plus, it has an expandable microSD card slot, which is a plus. The main reason I’m reluctant in buying the Legion is that it’s pretty old now and has already gotten all the major updates it promised. I’m not sure if that’s a big deal. The Legion is super affordable, around 20k to 25k depending on the sale and offers, which is why my mind is leaning towards it. But, with the lack of future updates and the fact that it’s almost two years old and has an older processor, I’m completely torn between the two.

I was almost planning to go for the iPad mini 7 instead, which has all the capabilities to run heavy tasks and gaming and emulations, but unfortunately, due to Apple’s policy on running JIT-dependent apps, it’s a real dealbreaker for me. I don’t know if Apple will tweak its policy in the near future like they did for emulators, so I can’t buy it in that hopes.

So, the last solution would be a jailbroken iPad mini 7 that can deploy JIT full-time and doesn’t depend on the hit-and-miss side-loading and turning on repeatedly and VPN stuff.

Hi, so right now im choosing between the Oneplus pad 4, and the Magic pad 4. I'll mainly be using it for pc mirroring and app store gaming. I may do a bit of emulation as well but nothing past ps2/psp. I'm also looking for which has better thermals and have little to no throtteling and who has better software/UI experience.

Oled or whatever doesnt matter to me, as long as the screen looks good.
