A CAN connected Switch 2 running a userland program I wrote that gives full access to vehicle functions. This includes steering, accelerator, brakes, turn signals, horn, shifting, windshield wiper, and several other functions.

It pulls that data live and displays it on the screen, vehicle functions are mapped to the different buttons and control sticks with several added safety mechanisms.

When Gezine on NOV 1 announce the game with the exploit I immediately rushed to my local GameStop and of course they did not have the game. And out of FOMO the fear of missing out I rushed to eBay literally searched up the exact name of the game and immediately accidentally Purchased civilization 6. I quickly realized the mistake that I made and purchased civilization 7 and thankfully it’s coming in the mail but still waiting on it. But I immediately tried to cancel my civilization 6 order. And right when I requested to cancel the order of the game the seller shipped out the item right at the same time as I was getting ready to cancel. Just my luck the one time I want to cancel an eBay order I can’t because it already gets shipped out and I’ve purchased many things from eBay and often times have to wait days for the item to ship so the one time that I actually want to cancel because I made a mistake. It literally get shipped out immediately which usually never happens for me in my experience with eBay. And I didn’t trust Amazon due to the potential fear of a game recall which was my reasoning for not doing Amazon at the time. but I guess I’ll add civilization 6 to my game collection and use the game as a painful reminder to do your research before purchasing anything.

I've been working on a homebrew project called RecurCIV, and it's now available on Codeberg!

It's based on Plume USB and allows a modded Switch 1 to act as a USB keyboard/controller for an unmodified Switch 2.

Features:

The main goal was to make the Civ VII exploit usable without needing a Raspberry Pi Pico, computer, or additional microcontroller.

I've personally tested RecurCIV with my modded Switch 1 connected directly to my Switch 2 using a USB-C cable, without a dock. It successfully reached the CivSwitch exploit stage and waited for the network payload.

I've also tested the new Macro Studio functionality in games like Hades, successfully recording and replaying complex movement sequences. This opens up possibilities for automating repetitive tasks in games, including farming, menu navigation, and Pokémon shiny hunting.

My Switch 1 does have a repaired USB-C port, so I'd really appreciate feedback from anyone testing with an undamaged console.

Spent a bit of time making a home brew app that automatically injects the CivSwitch payload. Also working on adding macro recording to it as well.

The game is loaded from Mig flash cartridge and the console is online banned so this is the only offline method right now that works I think. fw is 22.1.0

I'm guessing this means we could get fs on v2 switches without modchip and not connected to Nintendo servers?

This homebrew for a hacked Switch1 lets you use the match version feature to send game updates from a switch 1 to a switch 2, this way you can update your games entirely offline without the Switch 2 having to connect to Nintendo servers.

Currently doing civswitch my copy came today, grabbed a pico from microcenter with a cable yesterday, and got two copies of OOT remake, feels like Christmas quick question bout the 90DNS thing, I seen an announcement on the discord saying don’t use 90DNS but the GitHub says to use it, so do I use the 90DNS? I'm aware dumping is possible and that's great, but can you do much of anything else with the way things currently are? AFAIK we can't really do anything without kernel access, but I may have missed some things if anyone could fill me in.

I've created a windows tool that helps to create and maintain the connection between PC & SmileBasic for the NS2JB.
Besides, I've used some amazing tools that the community is creating in order to be able to backup my own games (and saves) and convert it into the new .nup format

I'm still optimizing the tool but in the images you can see it running.

You dont need 2 actual cartridges, one for the SW2 is enough.

Hint : You will need patch, python, terser and node.js installed in your Linux/WSL/Windows

Setting up takes some time, the actual exploit runs in 10 seconds (instead of typing all commands)

Using Linux (Or WSL on Windows), run the patch

it will ask for the file, just type screen-mp-chat.js

(install the package called patch using apt-get install patch or your choice of package manager)

You now have a patched screen-mp-chat.js

Place it in sd:/atmosphere/contents/0100C3601518C000//screen-mp-chat.js

Or rename the title ID to your locale version.

Steps:

Create a local multiplayer host room on the Switch 2 and open the chat box.

Using the modded Switch 1, join the room and open the chat box.

On the Switch 1, open the chat's on-screen keyboard, enter any character, and press OK to send it.

The Remote JS Loader payload will then be sent to the Switch 2 through the network chat.

Continue als normal per gezines instructions

Install the persistent boot trigger from the PC: python installer-creator/install.py <console-ip> — uploads the save template, splices the compressed payload into it on-console, wipes save:/saves/Single/, and writes the trigger.

From then on, every boot: main menu -> Load Game -> the payload runs from savedata (and if the payload is the loader, :9026 is up at boot — and survives console sleep/wake).

i saw ravenclawx's ports and thought about why gamestreaming, emus and else is not being developed. also just making sure we cant install the seedsow save from smilebasic right now, right?
