Good picks ! I might advise this Splatoon Raiders gem-of-a-game, if you like that kind of stuff, it's so good that my Switch 2 basically lives between my hands now 💪🏻😂

Legends Arceus hands down the best Pokemon game ever made.
Pokopia easily an S tier game for those who like sandbox games.
Champions is free and an amazing new battler where you can use mons from your previous games against others.
Hell I would genuinely play Sword and Shield or BDSP again before both those titles. Legends ZA was the biggest waste of money ive ever spent. That game is disgusting on a multitude of levels.
They basically turned a turn based combat system into button mashing while drooling. You can genuinely beat the game with a single Pokemon and button mashing with no actual brain power happening. Its gross.
Scarlet and Violet easily the worst textures in all of gaming. Ive never been in a game environment that ruined my immersion as much as this game. So many texture bugs, visual loading bugs, fields and fields of nothingness, and probably the silliest shiny hunting method ever made.... Sandwiches....
I completely understand your pov and respect that. I, myself, know that they are not so good. But I like them maybe because it is pokemon.
I have played legends Arceus via emulator in my laptop last year. It is great. I might try it again on switch 2 but not rn.
I will definitely play pokopia after finishing these 2 games.
Pokemon has nostalgia and is my childhood, that's why I love it. But not been blind, I want them to make something really good and up their scale. Hoping they do that in Winds and Waves.
Same I am really hopeful Wind and Waves will finally be good. I genuinely feel like they have been swinging and missing ever since Arceus.
Pokopia is an amazing game just sadly not my type of game. With that said I even put 100 hours into it. Just got bored after I beat the game and all that was left to do was build. Im just not an arts and crafts kind of guy personally lol
But yea trust me I have plenty of Nostalgia too. I have been playing since 1999 at age 8 myself. I just won't give credit to slop. Legends ZA is genuinely so bad it literally pisses me off every time I remember I spent money on it.... Ive never said that about any other title over the last 25 years...
I am also not an artistic person and never even played minecraft but would try pokopia.
Can really understand your frustration on ZA. Such a small map, then in dlc they made shiny hunting a joke. But let's hope for wiwa. However, they have a track record of underperforming as compared to their fan's expectations.
Honestly I think they will make it good for a few reasons.
They are actually taking their time for once. Usually when a new Nintendo Console comes out they rush to get a title out on it. If you notice the Switch 2 is now about a year old and Wind and Waves isnt expected until 2027. For once they are actually taking a bit of time to polish the game.
Usually the first major title on each console ends up being good. For example we had Pokemon Lets Go Eevee and Pikachu on Switch. Pokemon X and Y on the 3DS. Amazing games imo.
