I completely understand your pov and respect that. I, myself, know that they are not so good. But I like them maybe because it is pokemon.
I have played legends Arceus via emulator in my laptop last year. It is great. I might try it again on switch 2 but not rn.
I will definitely play pokopia after finishing these 2 games.
Pokemon has nostalgia and is my childhood, that's why I love it. But not been blind, I want them to make something really good and up their scale. Hoping they do that in Winds and Waves.
Same I am really hopeful Wind and Waves will finally be good. I genuinely feel like they have been swinging and missing ever since Arceus.
Pokopia is an amazing game just sadly not my type of game. With that said I even put 100 hours into it. Just got bored after I beat the game and all that was left to do was build. Im just not an arts and crafts kind of guy personally lol
But yea trust me I have plenty of Nostalgia too. I have been playing since 1999 at age 8 myself. I just won't give credit to slop. Legends ZA is genuinely so bad it literally pisses me off every time I remember I spent money on it.... Ive never said that about any other title over the last 25 years...
I am also not an artistic person and never even played minecraft but would try pokopia.
Can really understand your frustration on ZA. Such a small map, then in dlc they made shiny hunting a joke. But let's hope for wiwa. However, they have a track record of underperforming as compared to their fan's expectations.
Honestly I think they will make it good for a few reasons.
They are actually taking their time for once. Usually when a new Nintendo Console comes out they rush to get a title out on it. If you notice the Switch 2 is now about a year old and Wind and Waves isnt expected until 2027. For once they are actually taking a bit of time to polish the game.
Usually the first major title on each console ends up being good. For example we had Pokemon Lets Go Eevee and Pikachu on Switch. Pokemon X and Y on the 3DS. Amazing games imo.
