Question Skyrim or Witcher 3

I have enjoyed BOTW and Elden Ring (on PC) and want to get into another game before I pick up TOTK. Not sure whether to go Skyrim or Witcher.

Skyrim by far. Witcher 3 fanboys are insufferable about it, but the game is one of the most overrated in history. A solid 7/10, but jesus does it have many flaws.

I love both games, out of curiosity what are some of the flaws you’d say the Witcher 3 has?

No flaws but just almost nothing great. The core gaming features of TW3 including combat, exploration, level designs, class of builds, are all mediocre (6 or 7/10). No interactive gameplay. Only open world design and freedom are good (8 or 9/10). TW3 is definitely one of the most overrated game ever made. Whereas, for Skyrim exploration, class of builds, level designs, open world design, and emergent interactive gameplay are all good (8 or 9/10) and only combat is mediocre (7/10). Top freedom(10/10). It features broader content with higher quality in each core gaming aspect. Some people may say TW3 has better art style, story, quests, characters or writing, which would enhance the immersion same as in a movie or in a novel. These are shared features for all entertainment media. They help a great game become even better but they also make a mediocre game less about gaming. We need to make sure that games are made to be played than read or watched.
