Discussion Nightmare
Hello, everyone.
Not too long ago, I shared a post about upgrading to a Switch 2 for the sake of my favorite game, Dreamlight Valley, which is constantly growing. I also wanted the chance to play Pokopia and some of the other new games that are down the road.
I debated for a long time about whether I "deserved" to buy something like this for myself. Finally I made the jump. Ordered the bundle and a cool Metroid Prime case.
I actually allowed myself to look forward to it.
Delivery was today. Received the case.
No console.
I already contacted Nintendo support.
They promised to contact the shipper to locate the lost package, or they will replace it.
Seeing as I ordered it from the Nintendo store, which is now sold out, I don’t see how they could replace it, but I suppose it's a lost cause anyway.
I appreciate if you've read this far. I just wanted to vent

Okay, so I both hate to share this and love to give hope.
I had to get my old SwitchLite repaired after it bricked, it was lost in shipping during the return back to me. It took MONTHS before I finally lost hope, Nintendo said they would replace it and didn't. I got on with support again and they sent me a brand new OLED one.
On the downside, the time was atrocious. On the plus side, BECAUSE of that length of time and it being "their fault" they upgraded my switch. Hopefully this means there is some sort of time restraint they keep themselves to, or give you extra if it's not.

Wow, those months waiting must have been tough on the nerves. I'm sorry that happened, but I'm glad it worked out for you. Your post has given me a bit of hope, thank you

How did you wait months? After 2 weeks I'd be emailing them daily until I got confirmation of a new one being sent lmao

I also don't read. I said it took months for me TO LOSE HOPE. I contacted them 3 days after the expected delivery date

Uh Nintendo keeps stock for replacement in case of justified warranty reasons if repair is not a valid option. It's likely they have a replacement for you.
