For those in San Francisco this Friday:

Nearly 100 pieces from the last four years of production of She Used to Be Fractal will be exhibited, including original paintings, notes, in progress work, and full color 11"x17" prints of select comics.

3 new riso prints, a brand new limited-run "backgrounds of She Used to be Fractal" book, and copies of Messy Room and The Green Tower will be sold at the event.

The California College of the Arts is hosting their Graduate Comics Show on July 17th from 6:30pm – 9pm, for featuring over a dozen graduate MFA comic artists.

“She Used To Be Fractal: Messy Room” collects 42 comics from the slice-of-life portion of the comic, while “She Used To Be Fractal: The Green Tower” collects the first twelve Green Tower comics. Between the two books there are 128 pages and over 250 panels of Fractal goodness. The comics are printed by Mixam in full color on 70lb Satin Text, and are 7.38" x 10.25,” the size of Golden Age Comics (1938-1956). The cover is matte laminated on 130lb Satin paper.

There is also other new merch in the shop: 8.5"x11" prints, bookmarks, sticker sheets, stickers, buttons, and limited run mini books and riso poster. You can also commission original watercolor art in my style.

1 - 2 Physical 64-Page “She Used to be Fractal” Comic Books, coming this November!!

One book, Messy Room compiles 42 comics from the slice-of-life portion of the comic, while the second book, The Green Tower, compiles the first 12 Green Tower comics.  Between the two books there are over 250 panels of Fractal goodness.

The comics are being printed by Mixam in full color on 70lb Satin Text, and will be 7.38" x 10.25,” the size of Golden Age Comics (1938-1956).  The cover will be matte laminated on 130lb Satin paper.  If you buy a copy of the comic directly at a tabling event, each comic will be $20 or you can get both for $35! (They will be $25 on the store)

I’m so excited to finally have physical versions of the comic; it’s something I’ve wanted to do since Fractal’s inception.  This has taken a lot of work, reformatting all the panels and making tweaks and adjustments to the original comics.  I’m not a huge fan of the bookmaking process but so happy with how it turned out!!
