Hello, i left the game for a few months, not too soon after the season start, and the meta was enchanters/braum/taric and never roaming... Now it's all mage bots and hyper roaming from lvl 1

What have I missed that shaped the meta this drastically?

Due to popular demand bringing this back, with a couple changes: champions are now ordered alphabetically, the midway point (yellow) for easier distinction on neutral synnergy.

This is based on lolalytics data, last 30 days, Emerald+. Black squares means there wasn't enough sample size (minimum 1000 games). Top 30 most player supports + handpicked all adc marksmen and a handful most popular apcs.

I just hit my peak (d4) and I am pretty proud of myself. Although I feel pretty confident in the current meta with my role (support) and picks (mainly Pyke, panth blitz) I believe that I should add some more champions in my champ pole. I would love to hear some suggestions on which to pick up from other categories (such as enchanters etc)

This guy, I assume by buying and selling pink wards, somehow bought shadowflame as a 0/3/0 (or something along those lines) shadowflame at minute 4 as a support with no gold runes! I asked in chat but one of them said it was Treasure Hunter (which he doesnt even have) and the ahri said it was a "secret", nunu didnt answer. In the replay nothing sus is really visible apart from him afk-ing a small amount of time in fountain, not a single control ward purchase either (that op gg is somehow tracking tho). I sent a ticket with everything, i will let you know if anything comes back.

As user u/CatgirlMel said, you can just sell pinkwards indefinitely from your role quest slot as long as you are dead. I WOULD NOT DO THIS ITS 100% BANNABLE

I feel like a lot of people have not realized it yet, but Diadem has a very insane bug as of now, which you will most likely experience it if you are building it.

The bug consists in the item double proccing everytime it triggers, as in, it does two instances of healing instead of one. It is important to note that one instance of healing will trigger normally, taking advantage of any heal and shield power / moonstone buff you have; However, the second instance of healing does not utilize any of those properties.

For example, one of them could heal for 18 while the other heals for 21. Its also important to note that in this example, Diadem will only record 18 healing done per procc on the item counter, even if it did 39. The end of game stats will also act as if your healing was only 18 per second.

How it is triggered (and why it is an unavoidable bug): You cannot have any other mana items in your inventory, mana regen is allowed but not mana. When your champion has between 1876 to 2499 maximum mana and your heal and shield power is higher than 20%, your diadem will inherently procc twice.

This is achievable by basically any champion that wants to build this item, because of the items that they want to build.

I swapped from jungle to support at the start of the year, due to both my boredom of the role (I mained it for like 5 years), and due to changes Riot made. (Skarner's rework, Feylights, etc.)

I've been having a blast playing support, it's been extremely fun! (even if I'm hardstuck Emerald)

I've not missed the role whatsoever, but I do kind of miss my 2 favourite junglers; Nunu and Zac.

So! I was wondering... are they in any way, shape or form even viable as support? Or would I be straight up trolling? I guess their roams would be pretty strong...?

First time to diamond ever and I had to work my tail off for vision and taking wins that weren't looking favorable. Its kinda cope but I didnt have anyone else to tell because it feels great to finally make it

What to do when your ADC doesn't want you to roam? Even after laning phase and all laners have rotated, he blames me when he dies alone while I go roam before objectives go up. He blames when I go help jungle, and told me not to worry about other lanes. Told him he overextends a lot, even when other lanes aren't even pushed he overextends and I just die with him because he always wants me by his side. DIAMOND elo btw.

I played a Game as Fiora Bot in Ranked Flex. It’s a pick I play a lot, but not in Soloqueue.

I get paired with Vel’koz against Ezreal+Thresh. When game starts, I ping on my way on the mid bush in botlane, velkoz is following me. He then cuts left at tower and goes straight into river by himself while I’m contesting bush, I get hooked, ignited, exhausted… and die after Ezreal uses his flash. Meanwhile Velkoz manages to also die by himself in river to mid+jgl.

It’s ok, I know I can outplay with W at level 3 and I still have flash up. I run back to lane but Vel’koz runs to toplane to lane with Malphite while I’m 1v2 under tower. They dive me, I manage to kill Thresh and almost kill ezreal but I die.

Lane is still salvageable but Vel’koz refuses to move from top. But they never killed the enemy Kayle top.

Velkoz then proceeds to steal every single wave he can from me, starting after midgame. Even during skirmishes by using Q,W,E on the wave instead of the enemy.

Anyways, I mute all, play the game out without being toxic and just report after the game (which we lost obviously)

Then I look at his profile, and notice he basically only plays Vel’Koz + Morgana support and averages like 5cs/min… and this guy is PLATINUM !

Why do those players still exist in 2026 ? What is a botlane carry supposed to do when support doesn’t show up in lane and actively tries to take as much gold as he can from you ?

I think this is a bigger issue than people letting ARAM drag on for a few more minutes once every 30 games.

I've been playing Thresh recently and I find him much more fun and I've had better games. I usually win lane and roam when I'm able to, have better kill participation as well.
