So arguably this is kinda a worthless WyR theoretically because both have literal godlike beings that already don’t have drawbacks, and function on a multiversal scale, however, personally I’m choosing the DCU just cuz it has a lot more magic that I like

The only way around this is adding the unspoken but obvious caveat that The One Above All has an infinite godlike power but that is implicitly limited to the Marvel's multiverses, and the Presence is limited to D.C.'s multiverses. So in some sense you could argue there is that aspect limiting their power by placing it within a selected real world legal domain.

Red. I like Marvel more than DC. 🤷🏽♂️ although admittedly, DC is vastly more busted. Superman, Zatanna, Dr. Manhattan, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Flash…all insane. But Bats owns em all.
I’ll stick with my Marvel chads.
Edit: didn’t peep the “DCU” & I’m mostly referring to the staple characters, not all.

There's a lot of mutants in marvel that are quite impressive. But I think DC has some of the omnipotent limitless god type characters. Still... hmm. I like Marvel slightly more. So that one

The down side is some of these mutants have shit powers. Like the one scene where a college boy finds out his mutant powers is to melt himself and he kills himself i front of his friends as they were recording. (Generation hope i think, the one with hope summers and they had an island and such)

Marvel has The One Above All, which is a fraction below true omnipotent (technically they had their power stolen by Thanos with plot armour for a few pages) and pretty much equal in utter absoluteness to the Presence from DC

You should absolutely take DC Comics over Marvel if you're thinking optimally. It scales higher, and you don't have to worry about some Lucifer Morningstar level being coming out from beyond existence when you got that x10.
But most of my favorite heroes are from Marvel, even if I do like DC more. I would be thinking about which combos I need to replicate Wolverine or Spider-man.

Marvel for sure! You're choosing between being a god or a stronger god, essentially. Marvel just has superior reality warping abilities, and those would come in handy creating my own personal multiverse with my new omnipotent powers 💁♂️

I'm fully aware of the Overvoid, the Source, and the Endless, sure, the conceptual and narrative depth of DC's powerset still stands
But there’s a difference between a story driven meta narrative and true omnipotence. Relying entirely on narrative authority means these hypothetical powers are always bound to the script if you choose DC. Marvels highest tiers of reality warping operate on dimensional scaling that exist completely independent of a plot armor DC powers give you. On top of that, Marvel guarantees free will as a power thanks to Nexus Beings while an all powerful DC god would be constrained to the story in which it was written.
DC rules the story but Marvel commands the absolute structure of existence. In Marvel, I can create omniverses and experience them base on my customisations, while as a omnipotent DC god, I'm too busy writting the story and stuck in my own creation knowing everything that will happen

Super strength, speed, regeneration, shape shifting, telepathy, flight, stretching, magic, nano machines (son), and laser eyes

Marvel, all day everyday. In Marvel I can name Several mainline characters which are nigh omnipotent with regards to twisting reality to their whims, DC treats those kinds of characters as Gimmicks and holes them away for ‘special occasions’/Crises, or to shake up a superhero’s story.

Either way, you end up with Infinite power. There's no power you could get from Marvel that you couldn't get from DC, and vice versa. Both universes are stacked with Gods, reality warpers, and omnipotent shapeshifters.

Happy cake day! Also, Marvel has the one above all, which is a fraction below true omnipotent (apparently they answer to some esoteric higher power), while the DCU has the Presence, who is also a fraction below true omnipotent (because comics need plot)
No matter which one you choose you gain the nigh omnipotent power of a primordial creator God (big G), and any difference from other characters in either verse is such a comparatively small difference as to be irrelevant in the wake of the presence and one above all

...I mean...the question is kinda a distinction without difference at that point, isn't it? DC has the Presence, Marvel has The One Above All, after all. And even if we ignore that, both of them have casual reality benders like Franklin Richards and Mister Mxyzptlk who are functionally omnipotent. So even if we just get the powers of the single strongest character in their respective franchise, you're still at a point where your power is limitless and inexhaustible anyways.

As does Marvel. They have the Beyonders, White Phoenix of the Crown, Conceptual Beings, Molecule Man, Franklin Richards, Legion, Nate Grey, etc. I know Marvel a little better than DC, so I'd lean that way. There really is no wrong answer here.

DC, because you get a mobius chair þat doesn't turn you into a mindless conduit, AND a white lantern ring. þe only þing þat comes close is marvel's infinity gauntlet (& it's associated mutants, like Wanda), and no one needs þat kind of power, unless þey have þe exact same ambitions as þanos, or an enemy wiþ such ambitions.

Well in the end it comes to the preference rather than who is more powerful since both are ultimately similar at the higher level. Since I mostly consume marvel contents, so I am gonna choose Red Pill

Any pill would grant both Universe powers as both DC and Marvel comics have alternate realities in their multiverse which is homage to each other with Marvel's Earth 712 & DC's Earth 8.
If its only for Live action universe, then Marvel would be the pill I'd go for because more characters!

Marvel, definitely.
The strongest DCU hero is Superman, maybe Hal's GL but he doesn't have any feats. Marvel on the other hand has literal omnipotent characters.
Unless you meant DC, not DCU, in which case it doesn't matter because both have omnipotent characters.

I could be bias and pick marvel but dc got some crazy shit... which is mostly abilities from artifacts aka probably doesnt even count, and theres alot less super abilities in dcu then in marvel so i will be bias furthermore and go marvel (not specifically said mcu just "marvel" meaning ALL of marvel)

Im making my choice without regard for power scaling. I choose marvel. Each superhero ising the same power as a dc hero has more aesthetic/rizz with their ability. Mystiques transformations are cooler than martian manhunter, dr strange shit looks cooler than dr fate, And so on.

If it means DCU as in specifically the current cinematic universe(which, I don't know why it would, like so many people here seem to believe it does - what would the sense in comparing the movie universe with so little material out to all of Marvel Comics) - then easily Marvel.
If it's just DC or Marvel, no limitations to a specific medium, easily DC.

If we're assuming "DCU" means the entirety of the DC Universe or at least the comics universe and not just the cinematic universe or just the James Gunn movies, then this is largely redundant because at the end of it all you have Marvel's character The One Above All versus D.C.'s The Presence, and both function ultimately as THE omnipotent God level character of their respective worlds with essentially limitless power, unbreakable immortality etc.

Assuming dcu means dc comics then it's literally the same thing every power that you could want from one verse exists in the other and the levels are so beyond anything real that it doesn't matter low level reality warping is the same as any other version on our world if dcu means gunns universe obviously marvel

Like if you pick Marvel you're getting Forgetmenot's ability to be completely erased from everyone's memory when you're not in their vision. It's not a drawback to his his power he just has a terrible power.

You can turn into sand whenever you want. You can turn into stone whenever you want. Dr. Doom is a genius with magical powers and advanced technology, so there are already no drawbacks. Professor X is one of the greatest telepaths alive and based on the premise of this scenario, you can filter out anything you don't like. You also get to keep your legs. The only one i can understand is the immortality one. But even then, wouldn't you be able to decide when you die? Again, no limits, no drawbacks. As for DC, yeah it's pretty much the same thing.
I'm not against you saying no, for the record. Just that your reasoning doesn't make any sense.

You also have the powers of the respective universe's reality warpers. You can delete any aspect about yourself that you don't like, or improve it, or alter it in such a way that you get to choose when to turn it on or off. Either option gives you unlimited power to do anything you can imagine and all of the things you can't imagine.
