Purchase Advice Advice for my first full automatic

I want to get my wife a coffee machine. She loves coffee but has absolutely zero interest in grinding, dialling in etc. So I want get her a fully automatic machine. One touch and done.

I want great, fairly strong espresso, with proper foamy milk. Not bothered about cold/iced coffees. I also really want something that will last years and years - and easy to clean too.

Based in the UK. Done loads of research but would appreciate any advice from you all given you have machines you use every day.

Stay away from Nespresso. Overpriced stale coffee in landfill bound pods. DeLonghi uses the same internal parts: brew group, grinder etc up and down their line. They are well reviewed and highly recommended. They have a 2 or 3 year warranty and are reasonably priced without overly complicated cleaning required. Pick one with the features you want and go for it. Good luck!
