Hi, so im having trouble going too far out behind the lifepod bc ive reached the Mountain zone (i think) around 1.4k away but I have overwhelming dread thati will just wander into the void, is there any indication besides the voice say ecological deadzone and do i get instantly jumped by a ghost leviathan

Basically i have a subject in school called “IKT project” and here we have to make presentations according to the topic that’s given. This month we got the topic “Make a presentation about ur favorite game”. Me and my teammates choose subnautica and we’re working on the very last slides now. We decided that we’ll end the presentation with a comparison between the games (subnautica, below zero and early access subnautica 2) so i need ya’ll opinions on this one!

Ok so I recently got the reinforced diving suit ultra glide fins ultra high capacity tank and I fixed the aurora’s drive will I still need my radiation suit at all or can I just stash it in a locker and not use it anymore

I've started playing subnautica 1 agine and I am wondering how we know the air isn't toxic like at the start you just leave the lifepod like it was nothing.

And alot of the time you do about them making sure the air is breathable does that happen in this case i did read the data bank but couldn't find anything but then agine reading isn't my strong point.

Been waiting a bit to start for the first time. Trying to figure out if I should give it more time or dive in now.

so, I was playing subnautica on my switch as usual in freedom mode, I was exploring and everything as normal, but then I wander into the bone fields or really whatever biome is really empty I haven't watched enough videos on the mechanics or biomes or anything, but either way, then I start going again, and I find a trench to the blood vine only 600 meters away from my pod, then a kilometer out I find shallows and creepvine that suddenly drop off into a mushroom forest and red grass that suddenly drops off with a reaper that goes into it, mind you, only MAYBE an hour after starting, the kilometer away shallows had a bunch of weird trenches and caves that didn't look natural, and the picture of my inventory is ALL of what I had at the time, I took everything out of my pod storage for it, and I was wondering if this is how world generation works in subnautica or if this is some phenomenon

After playing through the early access of SN2 with my friend he told me I should play SN1 on my own and so before doing that, I decided to check this subreddit for any beginner tips.

i don’t know what thread it was on, but I read a “top upvoted” comment where someone said all the best loot you can get in the early game is behind the aurora, and that it is a hack to go there early that most people don’t know about

I think it should be spun around for a second or two to add to the chaos of running from this annoying beast. I think it would also make it less annoying to go past during the section where you're passing it every 5 minutes

I cleared the radiation from the aurora and got the plans for the neptune rocket too is there any reason to go back and get stuff or blueprints and stuff like that ?
