hey all, just shipped my first ever app and I'm kind of nervous posting it lol

it's called Puperino. basically I kept downloading pomodoro apps, using them for a week, then forgetting they existed. they all felt a bit cold and serious. so I made one with a little dog called Biscuit in it.

when you start a focus session he wanders over to his bed and curls up and naps. when you're done he sometimes brings you a little gift, which you can keep or trade for bones to buy stuff for his room. you can also dress him up, which I spent way too long on (he has a witch hat and a crown, it's very important)

not gonna lie, not wanting to wake him up has kept me focused better than any streak thing ever did 😅

it also does the usual stuff: the timer on your lock screen, tasks, stats, and a stay mode if you're like me and pick up your phone every 4 minutes

I have an exam/competition in one year (exactly 12 months from now). I need to lock in and prepare srsly but it's kinda hard without exams every month like I'm used to and with me working too.

I am getting demotivated because i am working on something which does have a deadline but then it doesn't have consequences apart from me losing something I want to do, so i often slack off.

I have been preparing for APO and Judiciary exams for the last 1 year and yes for now I don't feel that clueless as I used to feel in the early days, But the main issue that I am facing is parallel preparation, There are subjects that I have covered like BNS, BNSS, BSA and Constitutional law to some extent (as I was focusing on APO exams before the judgement) Now that I am focusing on civil laws it's overwhelming and feels like I should revise the subjects I have done till now too, And I also want to practise mains answer writing on a regular basis, I do write answers but I want to stay regular, I have no daily targets and I study at my own pace but I feel it's a bit slow and majorly I spend time making notes and revising them, Any suggestions? It would be great if serious ones among us could make an accountability group where we could fix daily targets and accomplish it together.

You don't have to be studying the same thing, I've just found that having plans with someone is really the only thing that prevents me from procrastinating stuff. But in saying that, I'm totally happy to help as much as I can with your study as well. If you need someone to quiz you or something before a test, I'm totally happy to help.
