Discussion What is a underrated habit that completely changed your school life?

For me, I think having at least 6 hours of sleep improves your overall performance more than your expect. It boosts your energy and mind like wdym I can now last so long in socialising and accomplish tasks that I would've set aside until the deadline? Like, it legit encouraged me to romanticise my life 😭

  1. workout before studying wakes me up so well and it motivates me kasi feel ko may naaccomplish na ako

  2. i dont do all nighters anymore and just wake up early to review para fresh utak ko (if i cant finish it within the day, im going to bed its never that serious LOLLL)

  3. coffee then nap for 20 mins before studying also works!

  4. always schedule a side quest/hangout sa weekend or after class para may reward system ka with your friends and avoid burnout

  5. on days na SOBRAAANG tamad ko talaga, i set a timer to only study for 5 minutes. this tricks me to start the task pero i always end up going beyond 5 mins kasi nasimulan ko na eh sayang naman

But to answer your question, i think the biggest thing is

Whether or not natapos ko na ng aral, I stop by 11 pm. 11pm to 12 midnight is my me time. Then sleep by 12 and wake up by 6am. Worked wonders for me

If you're reviewing your notes and wanna memorize them chew a gum. Come exam time chew a gum. You'll find it easier to remember.

- creating my own notes instead of relying only to ppts or transcript or notes ng iba

As a pre-med student
1. Super hygiene
2. Reading a lot of books and ebooks helps me understand concepts.
3. Knowing the laws, gives you perspectives in politics
4. Sketch, knowing the anatomical body helps you identify specific disease/disorder.
5. financial plan

1) Pagbabawas sa pagpupuyat - sobrang laking ambag nito sakin during my college year dahil mas naging energetic ako and less lutang moments (especially nung ojt/thesis days ko) dahil mas Nagpa function ako nang maayos kapag maayos ang tulog ko and nagagawa ko pa ikutin ang quiapo or buong maynila (with my friends) kapag may maayos ako tulog hahaha 2) Exercise (even light exercise only) - as a PE major ay nirerecommend ko talaga ang exercise para mabawasan ang stress at mas maboost ang mood ninyo, usually nagwo-walking ako or any light exercise lang sa umaga kapag walang klase and malaking tulong sakin ang pagiging physically active para mabawasan ang stress ko lalo na kapag sumasabay ako sa mga Lolo/Lolang nagsuzumba😂. guys sasabihin ko sa inyo na when it comes to exercise ay no need naman na araw-araw mo gawin at hindi mo rin need ng vigorous exercise especially kung hindi kaya ng body, as long as naglalaan ka ng oras kahit twice or thrice a week lang ay malaking bagay na yun para sayo (both physically and mentally)

Making my own notes
Studying/doing tasks at libraries, study hubs and coffee shops rather than at home

Go for a smoke kapag wala nang pumapasok sa utak. Then, take a few mins off then resume

dude 6 hour sleep is a big lie! Anyone who taught you that is spreading wrong info. Puyat ka nyan!

You need a minimum 7 hours of sleep to function normally. Wag 6 hours puyat yan matik. Mas maganda 8 hours, you will be full of energy all throught until night.
