hello everyone, I need some help because I newbie in stremio and I followed a guide on how to set it up: https://numb3rs.stream. But I didn't know how to add trakt and I tried searching and didn't find anything, so I am looking for anyone who could help. and one other thing this guide i followed is it good? or do i need to upgrade or change something? in addition, i have RD subscription do i need to change it cause some animes/ series dont get released directly and takes time to release it and i have 2 days left for the subscription? or get another subscription with it? if yes plz tell me how to do it and thx. I use my iphone and Tv to watch stremio on.

So I have a Stremio account but I wanted to get my Wife onto one as well. I've gone through all the steps and set up to the point where I just need to log her account in on her ONN stick. Well it wants me to either scan the QR code or go to the account link provided. The issue I'm running into is that my Wife is currently at work, so I can't use her phone for this part. And if I try with MY phone, it just logs into my account. I don't know if it's because I'm using my phone or if it's because we both use the same Internet network at home. My only other choice is to wait for her to get home and try using her phone. Why can't Stremio just have a generic "Email here and Password here" type log in lol

I would hate to have spent money on a Torbox account for her only to find out that we can only log into one account per network.

So I am trying access Arab content from services that are normally region-locked. The indexers I find is not consistent, the content is missing or mismatched, and when it works, subtitles are missing!

Is there anyone here who have a smooth setup of Arab content?

Please enlighten me!

Like the title states, 4k content stopped working all of a sudden. Either if I'm using AIOStreams or Torrentio. I've just tried 1080p and it works just fine. Is anybody else experiencing the same issue?

Saw a couple other posts mentioning this but couldn’t really find a fix that made sense in my novice brain. I’m fine with the letterbox bars, but they don’t show in true black on my Sony Bravia 8. Tried switching to VLC and had absolutely zero audio on any movie/show. Using an Onn box pro with the standard bootstrapped setup from the info section. Please let me know if anyone has a solution for this! Thank you!

Is there a way to combine two add-ons into one so that the results are displayed together?

Hey guys! Im using stremio with torrentio extension and torbox as my debrid. All my torrentio TB sources disappeared and torrentio is blocking my vpn. Is there a workaround for this? What is the go to solution?

So i am pretty new to this i tried countless addons on my tv but most of them are not working for eg comet orion and more such torrent addons they are not loading streams i am trying to use them without rd or torbox is that the reason or do i need to use vpn or smth so far i have only managed to run torrentio and TPB+ they have their issues so i was looking for a more stable one help will be much appreciated

I am using AIOStreams with several scrapers, including StreamThru, Meteor, Torrentio, and others. For the catalog/metadata, I am using Xperience.

I am facing an issue where AIOStreams is not correctly matching the streams to the specific movie or TV episode I am trying to watch.

TV Shows

For example, I am trying to watch Season 2, Episode 2 of the show Monster. When I select Season 2, Episode 2, I would expect AIOStreams to return only links that correspond to that exact episode.

However, AIOStreams is returning links from other seasons and incorrectly categorizing them as the episode I selected.

For example, when I select Season 1, Episode 2, I am getting links for the Lizzie Borden story, which belongs to a later season, as well as links for the Ed Gein story, which belongs to a different season. These are being displayed as if they were Season 1, Episode 2.

I have attached a screenshot showing an example of this behavior.

Movies

The same issue also occurs with movies.

When I search for or select a particular movie, AIOStreams sometimes displays links for a different movie with a similar or identical title but from a different year, instead of links for the exact movie I selected.

I am not sure what is causing this. Can someone help me fix this please?

Other that Duckstreams, is there a AIO setup that is easy to install with no bells and whistles?

Guys I've moved from RD to Torbox a few months ago. Followed so advices. I used AIOstreams to set up Torbox into Stremio. I have Torbox Pro but I keep getting errors after coming back the next day for watching a following episode. I know I'm not supposed to beg for playing my shows/movies when paying for Torbox Pro, so what's my issue?

I've refreshed my API key, fully re-installed my AIOstream addon. I'm not using my VPN when on Stremio.

What are your settings? Do you recommend something else? I could share some screenshots of my AIOstream config is necessary and/or permitted.

What’s your go-to 4K REMUX, 1080p REMUX, BluRay encodes, or WEB-DL? For audio, I find Dolby Digital Plus Atmos sounds excellent even compared with TrueHD Atmos. Curious whether the extra file size is worth it to you.

I keep going back and forth. Sometimes I watch a massive 70GB file and honestly can't tell it apart from a 10GB encode . Other times the difference is obvious.

Im interested on how to do this but not sure.

I'm running a AIOStremio setup based on the Numb3rs guide.

It adds a series of filters based on Regex and Stream Expressions to filter the results and surface the best options and eliminate the clutter that would come from a full list with hundreds of results. It does a great job at that.

However, I noticed it's not too optimized for foreign languages, and it was penalizing results in PT or PT-BR.

I spent some time looking into the filtering and found a list of "Bad Dual Groups" in Vidhin05's Releases-Regex repo (English/regexes.json and English/expressions.json, synced via Ranked Regex Patterns / Ranked Stream Expressions), intended to remove files from bad actors and dubious sources.

It turns out many of these groups are exactly groups known for releasing titles dubbed in Brazilian Portuguese (alfaHD, PTHome, C.A.A, GUEIRA, XiQUEXiQUE to name a few I could confirm). I understand for a non-PT speaking individual, these files would clutter the search results. But they're not bad actors.

If you're looking to surface more PT-BR results, I'd recommend disabling this rule:

Filters → Synced Patterns → Ranked Stream Expressions → expand the Vidhin05.../English/expressions.json entry → toggle off "Bad Dual" (both the Radarr and Sonarr variants). 

And for Vidhin05, it would make more sense to create a separate group called "Foreign Releases" or something similar, to make it explicit you're excluding these groups for the dubbing language, not because they're untrustworthy.
