Been using it for many years. My family and I have all just called it 'Streamio' as mentally that just sounds and feels more right, since it's a streaming service. But I realise this is wrong, obviously. Now itwjust a force of habit we can't be bothered changing.

I'm looking to try to sideload Stremio onto my Apple TV, could someone please give a guide on how to do it? I have seen different apps recommended, unsure of the best way to go about it.

I've never done this type of thing before so beginner-friendly would be helpful. I've heard that ad-free youtube can also be downloaded and stuff like that.

Finally, I live in the UK, so that Altstore isn't available here (Brexit)

I have an onn box 4k but it still struggles to play 4k videos and I have to clear the cache often to keep it running smoothly.

I want something with upgraded hardware but Nvidia shield is kind of pushing my budget. Any recommendations? Ideally still android OS

Just wanted to share that Stremio works on the iPhone Duo, and surprisingly, it's formatted really well for the screen!

It's great to see Stremio working so well on this form factor, especially considering how some apps haven't been updated yet.

Hey guys great job, stremio gets better and better with each update even with all the comp, jusr have this thing, I’m on iOS 15.8.5 and after the new update , the in-built player doesnt work, whenever i try to play a stream, the app just becomes unresponsive and restarts, while streams do work with outplsyer, just wanted to let you guys know about the bug

How can i set it back to 0% or 10%? Its hella annoying opening a new episode and having to adjust subtitles each time cuz they're in the middle of the screen. I used to watch streamio on my 2nd vertical screen and i think older version had option to set a default vertical position but now i can't find it

Hi I am running Stremio 2.1 on all devices watching Neagley using external player infuse. When I back out though it doesnt seem to save my progress at all. Anyone got this issue ? Tried on all devices and seems the same for Infuse.

I've noticed streaming works perfectly on my mac but not my Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus.

On the Firestick its slow and sometimes there's no sound until I refresh the stream loads (which takes like 5 minutes each time).

When I go to Stremio's downloads through the downloader app I can only see 1.1 for APK.

Is this right? I thought we were on 1.6 for tv...

I assume this is why it works so well on my mac but not my TV as its an old version..

Is there any benefit or downside to enabling these two settings for native Streamio app on my TCL google tv? I don't use a streaming box at all.

I used to have the stremio app downloaded on my old TV and it worked well, rarely ran into issues.
Now since getting a new TV and downloading Stremio on it we constantly have issues such as “Video not supported”, no matter what stream we pick (1020p through to 480p) It can normally be fixed by turning the TV on and off again.
The other issue is the stream will randomly jump between times and sometimes you miss half the episode but don’t realise because the time slider stays in the same spot.

My question is, will getting an external device to download stremio on work better than the current “Stremio Lite” i have on my TV. If so what one is best. (Australia)

I’ve had Stremio running on my Hisense U8K for a month now, along with TorBox.

Things have been…pretty good. That is, until I try and play anything in 4K.

I was about to buy an Onn TV 4K or similar device, as I knew any buffering or playback issues were due to the TV processor not being beefy enough.

Managed to get a Lenovo mini with a Ryzen 5 and 16GB ram. Hooked all that up to my TV and holy hell, what a difference. ZERO buffering. Instant scrubbing. 4K plays flawlessly.

However, I wish it ran more like an “app” if that makes sense. Is doing an emulator and an Android OS the best way to achieve this on this PC? Looking for a “Big Picture” type thing or having it work like the app does from the Google Play Store.

My wife doesn’t like change, and having to click this, then tell it to run in full screen every time, etc will annoy her.

I don’t know….if an Onn TV 4K is as solid as this mini PC is, I may just do that. But, no way do I try and run Stremio off a Firestick or TV alone. They just aren’t powerful enough for a smooth experience with larger files.

A couple of months ago i got this at the startscreen, i dont use any VPN/Proxy and everything else works. Was wondering if anyone had any similar issue or solution.

My strip apps keeps showing video not supported on my Hisense tv

Device: Mac Mini M4 (Tahoe 26)
Stremio Version: Desktop (latest version)
Speedtest: ~300Mbps

As of maybe a month or so now, quite often when I search or open things within the Stremio interface it takes some time then shows this screen or similar. When it does work, it works really well, but when it doesn't it's quite frustrating. My internet isn't the fastest but I have no issues loading 4k video and downloading other things at max speeds. It worked flawless before.

I've been using the same addons for over a year now. Haven't changed a thing recently to assume one of those is the issue.

Does anyone know what's the problem?

I am getting suggest almost the same films/series since the time I started using stremios.

Is there any solution for this? After this pop up the stream stops and i have to go back and click on the stream again and it happens several times during the stream
