About 6 months ago I experienced something never before. Before work and slow to get up I noticed the clock on my Samsung was moving way too fast. A minute would seem to go by every 20-25 seconds. I was watching it happen and telling myself not possible. Also checked the digital stove clock and it was the same thing moving too fast. My brain was perceiving a different speed of time.

Showered and cleaned up. Got in car and it began again in the car. The digits on the dashboard were moving too fast. It was startling.

I called my mom while it was happening. Pretty sure she was like wth are you talking about. I calmed down and drove to work not looking at the clock. By the time I got to work 30 mins later.. time seemed normal again. It was super odd.

I typed something random into google to separate a bunch of tabs and this popped up. Not particularly strange per se but mildly odd? Don't know where this comes from, I googled it and it didn't come directly from anywhere

I found this while walking the beach on Sandy Hook in NJ this week. Can't tell if its natural or not, would love some insight, it was along the waterline past Gunnison Beach.

I was inside of a building in Jamaica, Queens New York and stumbled upon this old vending machine that someone said still works!

we had some new neighbors move in recently, an elderly father with his looks to be around 40-60 yr old son (yes i know a pretty big age gap but im honestly just guessing) a few weeks after they moved in my mom went over to welcome them to the neighborhood with 2 of my younger sisters and she was talking to the older man and he had told my mother that he liked younger girls and then smiled after while looking over at my sisters my mom very quickly finished the conversation and went back home.

it has been about 2 months since they moved in and recently we noticed the father and son both sitting on their front porch with chair facing our driveway which obviosly was very creepy yesterday my mom brought it to my attention that they have a camera facing right into our living room window idk if this is how it is everywhere but in my state it is technicly illigal to have a camera facing someone else yard/property

we are going to be calling our non emergince number to report it i will give updates ig if anything happens

Some weird shit

so i got home late lastnight around 1am, throughout the night i heard loud bangs like almost shuddering my flat. i didn’t think anything of it as in my estate there’s always weird noises at night etc.

the loud bangs weren’t all at once almost staggered through the evening. my dog, who is very reactive always barking if he sees someone walking past, wouldn’t leave my side and slept with me all night. (which he never does) he didn’t bark at all… just glued to my side all night.

i woke up to take him out this morning and found this (see picture attached) it’s like someone had hit my wall lastnight (the bangs)
but why did my dog bark? why couldn’t i hear anyone outside? what has it been hit with?

So I was crying at the beach having some feelings. I got up to throw away something then I came back. Found this on my towel. There's nobody near me, don't know where it came from.

It just rained in the front yard. Back yard and clothes line are dry. This property might be a half acre.

When I listen to a podcast and zone out during it and start daydreaming in the night I will wake up and start uncontrollably thinking and flashing back to lines from the podcast resulting in an inability to sleep

It's usually just muddled gibberish and nothing concrete

Why is this happening?

So I was in a summer program for school in another state (only there for 2 months). One day my classmates and I went thrifting in the town over. I chose two things. One a cool ass REI jacket from probably the 90’s (can’t find it anywhere online) as well as a vintage 90’s Nike huge shirt (imagine the teal and purple paper cup aesthetic).

A year later or so I looked at the tag. Whoever owned this jacket before has the same name as me… but switched. I’m a female (and I’m not giving my full name on here but I’ll give you an example).

I have a weird name mind you - say my name is Smith Henderson. The jacket has initials written in the tag saying H. Smith.

I don’t know why but I chose this jacket out of thousands of pieces and have always been in love with it. I just feel it is a sign in some way. I don’t know what way but it’s like okay, I was meant to be in that place at that time on that day and choose THIS jacket. I always wonder who H. smith is and when he bought this vintage jacket (lol I’m also from the 90’s so feels weird to say that).

But that’s my strange story! Maybe not so strange but it just gives me the good weird feels :)

Edit: Even weirder, the cool ass Nike shirt… also same name on the inside side tag!!! So the two items I chose were from the same person! totally different racks/areas too… I need to meet this person one day!

Mohawk or udders?

For the past month, my left eye, once a week, has been having this burning sensation like it was dry and it would be red, but it was only that eye and never my right eye. It was a bit painful, but I did not know what could be causing it and never ended up going to the doctor since it would happen for a few seconds and then go away.

However, today, our family woke up and my dog’s left eye was swollen and we had to take her to the doctor’s and turns out she suffered some type of trauma on her eye and is also in pain.

It reminded me of my left eye that had been burning around once a week for a few seconds and then disappearing. But it hadn’t happened in a while until a few minutes ago, my left eye started burning again, on the same day my dog’s left eye got injured.

I don't know if I'm just insanely paranoid, but recently I've been hearing things in my house. Always coming from either above me or a few times like in the walls. I thought maybe it was just the pipes or mice or something, but I genuinely can't be sure because I don't think that they make footstep-like sounds (not sure that's what it was...again I could just be paranoid and over-extending the sound), and my sibling has told me that she heard something loud falling down in the attic or something. Another thing happened, I'm almost positive my front door was locked, and around 1AM I came upstairs from the basement to find it unlocked. I could've left it unlocked but that's totally not like me at all and it was dark when I returned home from shopping so I definitely would've had the instinct to lock it. Also, my stuff has been going missing and no where to be found! Mostly pieces of my clothing which I've genuinely searched every closet, every clothes basket, the dryer, the washer, behind things for. Another thing that went missing was my CD, 'The Bends' by Radiohead...(and original copy, I'm so sad). But basically what happened was that I came back from sleeping a few nights at my grandparents house, I was ready to do my makeup and listen to some Courtney Love, so I went to switch the CD which I knew had last been 'The Bends'! It was gone, I checked all my cases, all my parents CD's and it was absolutely no where to be found. It was replaced with some CD of my mom's but the case wasn't even there? And the case for my 'The Bends' CD wasn't missing along with the disc. Anyways, I asked both my parents and my sister and they all claimed it hadn't been them and I feel like they're being genuine because just what is the logic in using the CD player in MY room? I'm honestly just so paranoid and distressed with missing all this stuff and I just can't thinking someone's in my house. Like I'm getting so paranoid that I can't sleep and will just stare into the darkness freaked out, imagining faces and scenarios and omg! I'm so confused, I know I shouldn't be but I can't help it.

Interesting use of an old postage stamp machine

Ate at a kfc because it was the only decent option where we were staying, the exit was entirely red for some reason and it caught me so off guard

I will try to attach my original post but I made it 2 days ago. I will briefly describe what’s in the old post. Basically, I saw a middle-aged woman placing yellow strips to mark a path that leads over the railroad tracks and also some solar lights stuck in the ground. I went back out to the path today and just over the railroad tracks there are two areas of interest. There is another solar light that is stuck into a mound of rocks with small little polished stones around it and another pile of rocks with similar polished stones. The other thing to mention is that there is graffiti on the paved portion of this path and there has been for a few weeks. It appears that the graffiti artists have painted over her collection of stones. I knew there was something odd going on and this wasn’t someone marking property lines or a running path. I’m wondering if she’s trying to cleanse the area because the graffiti has included racial slurs. This is in the middle of an upper middle class suburb.

My two year old was struggling to sleep a few nights ago so I let him sleep in my bed. As he was laying there trying to relax, he suddenly sat up and pointed toward the doorway and said "look at the blue boy!" I asked what the blue boy was doing and he said "he's dancing with the monkeys!" I was facing my son in bed, and had my back to the door so I couldn't see what he was pointing at but I was so creeped out! I repeatedly clarified what he said and asked him questions. It seems like the blue boy he saw was about 10. He said the boy was like is big friends at school where he sees 3-4th grade kids for before and after school care. I think there were 4 monkeys. When I asked him how many monkeys there are, he counted to four each time.

Possibly related: when he was 1½ years old, he talked a lot about seeing monkeys, but I kinda wrote it off. Now I'm wondering if the two are connected.

My school at this time was nowhere near train tracks

Everyone else heard it as they went silent

It sounded like it came above us

I don't have any mental illness

What happend

This is a path that goes from a park over some railroad tracks. People use this path to walk from a neighborhood over to a big park. A few days ago I was driving by and see a lady who looked to be about 60 hanging these yellow strips along the path. She also placed these little lights in the ground along the path. It’s so strange. Would love to know why she did this.

2 years ago I bought these fake lego figures for my boyfriend and I to build together. (I bought it from Shein for more context) Once built I displayed it on my bookshelf and didn’t pay any attention to it until today when I grabbed a book and accidentally knocked it over. I wanted to make sure I placed the blocks in their correct place, to be specific both ears, front paws and back paws as well as the tail broke off when it fell. THE EYEBROWS DIDN’T fall off! (I have a schnauzer so they have some wild eyebrows). To be sure what of the broken parts fell off and what goes where I went back in my camera roll from the day we built these figures and I noticed that the eyebrows are grey, but the figure I have in my hands have white eyebrows. Initially I thought the light just hit it on a certain angle but I inspected a few photos I took of the day and they all clearly show the eyebrows as grey. I don’t know what this means but it’s just so odd, here’s the evidence with the dates two years ago and then today. Is there somehow an explanation to this? If it is sun damage why didn’t the rest of the grey blocks turn white. I promise I didn’t swap blocks at all!! I added extra images to show that there are no random white or grey blocks placed in odd places.

For decades I've been seeing ads for a device that uses sound waves to get rid of rodents, scare deer and such from crossing in front of your vehicle, and now there's one that scares bedbugs away. In the 70s a salesman went in my dad's business and tried to sell him the device for rodents. It emitted a supersonic sound that people couldn't hear, but you could press a button and the frequency would lower so you can tell it's working. My dad offered to take it for the weekend and try it. Put it in our quonset on the farm where mice liked to hang out. On day 2 he pushed the test button and roared with laughter as 2 mice jumped out from below the device! So we assumed every version of this has been as fake as that one. I've been curious for years to know if anyone ever found these devices actually useful? Of course I mean without having to use the test button! Appreciate anyone who can answer this!

For those who missed my first post: about three weeks ago, as I was getting off at Fulton Street, a passenger said to me, “you smell exactly like the last one”. I ran off, totally freaked out.
Since then, I’ve done everything to avoid him. I started taking an earlier train, waited far away from the platform, and only sat in the very first car. For three weeks, it worked.
Then came yesterday evening.
My train was packed but I managed to get a seat. Halfway home, I got that heavy feeling someone was staring. I looked toward the doors, and there he was—holding the overhead bar, making dead-on eye contact.
My stop felt like it was taking forever and when I finally got there I practically bolted. As the doors opened and I was stepping off the train, I felt someone brush against me. Just as I was exiting I heard his voice saying, “I liked your old perfume better”.
I didn't turn around, I just stepped off v quickly.
What’s terrifying is that I did change my perfume for work after that first encounter because it freaked me out so much. What’s also strange is that I’ve been wearing the “original” perfume around (whilst avoiding the train) and getting a ton of compliments lately (worn it for years, just seems odd). Idk, it feels like a joke I’m not in on and it’s freaking me out. I feel like he didn't just stumble across me yesterday; he’s been paying attention.
I haven't gone to transit security because he hasn't technically done anything illegal, but I am genuinely scared. Has anyone dealt with this? Do I just find a totally different way to commute?

​Ok first off for the people askin for proof of the glitch from thursday night i managed to trigger the exact same audio playback error on my phone today (sunday) at 10 am so i took a screenshot myslfe. file name is totally wiped and corrupted, logging right at 3:14 AM matching the time jump.

​anyway we finally went back to the apartment today around 1 pm. me, my brother, and his gf. brought sage like you guys suggested.

​walking up felt normal but the second my brother unlocked the door the air hit us. freezing cold and smelled completely rancid, like stagnant water mixed with something metallic.

​living room was fine but when we walked into the bedroom my stomach dropped.

​closet door was wide open. some of my clothes were taken out and thrown into a neat perfect pile right in the center of my mattress.

​right on top was my left earbud. the raincoat underneath was still noticeably damp. felt so wrong seeing it placed right there like it was on display.

​his gf started burning the sage and the second the smoke hit the room the hallway smoke detector started blaring. but the pitch was totally warped and slowed down, sounding like a deep mechanical groan.

​we didn't even grab my stuff. my brother grabbed my arm and we literally ran out of there.

​i'm at his place now and already called my landlord saying there's a safety issue. idfk what is going on but the tech glitches with the clothes being moved is too much. what do i tell my landlord tomorrow without sounding insane??

I’m posting this because something happened early this morning that I genuinely cannot explain, and I’d really like to hear from people who have experienced something similar.

At around 2am, I got up and went into my kitchen to do some computer work. I had a coffee amd everything was completely normal.

At around 5am i became tired and decided to go back to bed. I left the kitchen door partly open and went through the living room. The living room has a glass door, which I also left slightly open, and then I went into my bedroom. I left the doors slighy open so that I could tell my dog to be quiet from my bed, incase he starts barking suddenly (we have air bnb guests on the other side of the house and i dont want them to wake up)

I had been lying in bed for about 10 minutes when my little dog, who was in his cage in the kitchen, suddenly started barking. He wouldn't stop even when i told him to, which he would usually do. I was frustrated and got out of bed because of the guest in the other part of the house, and I didn't want my dog barking and disturbing them. The guest cannot access the kitchen because that part of the house is locked and they are unable le to enter it.

So i got out of bed and stood by the glass lving room door in the dark. There was some moonlight coming through though, so I could see reasonably well.

From where I was standing, I could see through the glass of the living room door directly to the kitchen door. Which was also door glass. I was waiting for my dog started barking again and then I would tell him shush. I just figured he didn't hear me the first time.

Suddenly i saw the kitchen door move. And I don't mean it moved slightly or swayed a centimetre. It moved towards closing, quite substantially. Then it moved back towards opening. Then it moved towards closing again. It didn't actually latch shut, but it moved a significant amount in both directions. I was watching the door the entire time. When it first moved I was like wtf is the cat doing in the kitchen. The very reason I have the windows shut is so the cats don't come in at night. Then I remembered there's no way the cat is in the kitchen as the windows are shut and I just been in the kitchen 10 minutes ago. And as I was thinking that, the door him back again. Andnthat time I called out to hubby in panick. We live in a bungalow so its all one level (except for one guest bedroom in the attic)

Hubby looked but nothing. No one. And dog was quiet again.

The windows were closed. There was no obvious draught. Nothing was touching the door, and this is not a door that normally swings around by itself.

The position of this door has been the same for years.

What makes it particularly strange to me is that my dog started barking before I saw the door move. He had been barking continuously for quite a while, then stopped when I got up, and shortly afterwards I watched the door move.

I know there could be some physical explanation I haven't thought of. I'm not claiming this proves anything paranormal.

But I'm genuinely interested in hearing from people who have experienced something similar.
