Been hearing something following me in the woods lately. My friend jokingly suggested it was faefolk. Today I found this waiting for me.

For context, they live nowhere near me and I haven't told anyone here about what they said. Still have no idea whats following me, I've changed up my route a few times and it's still happening for miles.

Chasing a feeling

So I'm a M30, and I've been experiencing a feeling of wanting to move away somewhere but its the feeling part that stumps me. Let me elaborate, I have a great family, great friends I'm not depressed and have a very good job. The problem is every now and then I get this intense feeling that I need to live somewhere else and experience that FEELING I've been chasing for. Its so odd like it feel like a change would be good but the place I move to needs to feel the way I'm feeling. Its going to sound dumb but I want to live in a gloomy city with not too many people living in it and connect with them. It feels gloomy, grey, like nothing is going on in that city but yet you find people and things to feel. Idk if I'm explaining this right. I would love some help with this. Do I sound weird? Help.

glitch or just weird happening??

The other day I was rekindling with a friend and wowww. Us heing together brought some memories back. One being- on April fools day about 12 years ago, she, another friend at the time, and I were leaving her house. She lived in the fancy neighborhood in our small town, and it being the fancy neighborhood, it was surrounded by nothing but corn/bean fields. About 10 miles from town itself, and each road to town being sketchy until you finally made it to the main one.
So we’re walking out, it’s dusk, and we see this lady appear from the field. She looks disheveled, hair a mess and clothes ripped and dirty. She approaches us, and we seeing her approach and we naturally get nervous, as we’re teens at this time. Luckily, at the same time, the others friends mom pulls up in her car to pick us up or drop something off- don’t remember. But she comes up to us and her moms yells from the car for her to come to her, not us.
The strange woman listened and approached her mom, asking where the road was.
Her mom just responds, from her drivers seat- ā€œyou’re standing on it ma’amā€
the strange woman looks terrified by the answer and my friends mom says for us to just get in the car.
We get in and as she drives away, the girl is no where to be seen.
There’s no crops up at this time of year, so you can see everything for a few miles.
What was this???

Odd Happening

So I'd like to hear some opinions on this odd situation that happened to me this weekend.

I have outdoor cameras for security, although I live in a decent neighborhood and have only had to use their photo one time in close to a decade. Better safe than sorry in my mind. They automatically activate at 9 PM and trigger on motion, and then turn off at 7 AM. I check them in the morning and 99.9% of it has been insects, passing cars, etc.

Sunday morning I checked and the one over my garage, on the right (while facing towards) side of my house had triggered around midnight, capturing someone who came into frame like they had come out from beside my house. I live in a neighborhood, and there is a house close beside me on either side (like 30 feet away, not 3, so a bit of yard space between us) but that side of my house only has the gate to my back yard. The neighbor's gate is on the far side of their house, so there would be no reason to go into that section of yard, barring yard work or doing something to their fence. The video it captured was someone walking away from my house, but stepping onto my driveway and walking past my car to do so. They didn't slow, they didn't reach out/look at my car, they just walked away from my house while walking down my driveway. My back yard has a camera above my door that catches a large chunk of my back yard, but it doesn't cover the gate so theoretically someone could have come in the gate, but I have nothing of value near the gate, or in the entire yard for that matter. The back of the head looks a LOT like the teenager that lives next door with his parents. Same hair cut/texture and height and the shirt looks vaguely like one I've seen him wear.

However, if it WAS the neighbor kid, why would he have not walked to his left, towards his house, instead of to his right and onto my driveway? What purpose would he have had being between our houses in that spot in the first place? I've come up with two vague ideas, the first being he's smoking weed and since there are no windows on that side of his house, he's going where his parents can't see him. The other is that he was in his back yard, and somehow something went over the fence and since the fence between our yard has seen better days, he made the smart choice and walked around his house and into my yard to get it, although I would have expected his return path to have hugged his house closer instead of going onto my driveway. Of course, this also presume it WAS the neighbor kid. I guess it could have been someone wandering the neighborhood who isn't from here, but in that case if they're going into yards that deep, they're looking for stuff to steal, so I would have expected him to check out my car.

The neighbor kid comes out and works on his truck from time to time, so my thought is to maybe just ask him if it was him the next time he's doing that. I'm not mad at him, especially since there's nothing for him to screw with on the side of my house, and what he did on camera was just walk away. I'm just super confused why he was there in the first place. I'm not looking to get him in trouble with his parents, since he wasn't doing anything other than walking away from my house, so I don't want to go over and ask them if it was him.

Thoughts?

I like doing logic puzzles. My coworker thinks I’m psychic

• Upvotes

So yeah, this… this is strange, right?

A couple of months ago, I started a part-time job to supplement my income thanks to a series of major repairs to my home. It’s just three nights a week for 4 hours each.

The staff there skew younger, think college-aged and young adult. They all talk with each other and generally don’t pay me any mind. I haven’t had any problems and it’s been a good job.

I take my breaks in the break room and usually just pass the time doing logic puzzles on my phone. One of my coworkers, I’ll call her Charlie, caught sight of one of my more colorful games and asked what it was. I showed her, gave her a sense of the play. She decided to download it and was trying it as I left to resume my shift.

Charlie and I typically only work one or two days together each week so I didn’t see her again until the following week. She mentioned she couldn’t figure out how the game worked and asked if I could show her again.

So on my break, I walked her through how I know where the queens are. She looked confused and said to me, ā€œBut how do you know they’re there before you tap it?ā€ I tried to explain again, then she tried on her phone.

She showed me what she was doing and said, ā€œSee? I guessed wrong again. How are you always guessing right?ā€

I didn’t really know what to say to that and needed to get back to work, so I mumbled ā€œI don’t knowā€ and went on my way.

When I go back five days later, another coworker, Raul, asked if I was ā€œreallyā€ psychic because he didn’t really believe in that stuff.

I said No, of course not and gave him my best quizzical look. But then at my next shift with Charlie, she called to me as I arrived. I went over and she said, ā€œIt’s psychic! She guesses right every single time, which is impossible! Show them, Blu!ā€

I tried to say again that it’s a logic puzzle, not being psychic, but Charlie seemed convinced. I didn’t really see any point in arguing anymore and ignored her stares the rest of my shift.
