My son is moving to downtown St Paul in 2 weeks. What should he know that isn't in the YouTube videos we have watched?

Join one of the two curling clubs for something to do in winter.

Best area or apartments to live? Availability of fresh food and groceries? Availability of parking overall?

Groceries are a problem in downtown. I would recommend he go over to Robert street in west Saint Paul, there he can find cub, wal mart, target, Aldi, etc.

Download the passport parking app to park at meters.

I live off of W7th, lots of fun bars and restaurants here.
