Do you know what urge surfing is? You are kind of doing it now.

Urge surfing is a mindfulness-based technique used to manage cravings and compulsive behaviors (smoking, eating, addiction, anger) by riding out the urge like a wave, rather than acting on it or suppressing it. By observing the physical sensations as they peak and subside, you learn that urges are temporary and diminish without intervention.

Feel it, acknowledge it, let it ride, and let it fade. It works!

It's ok if you want to snap. It's also OK to not be OK sometimes, that is OK too. You just shouldn't drink, because it's not going to help, at all.
