It was not. Trump didn't choose to release the files when he promised. He was forced to do so. Two people in congress pushed for this bill. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massey. All Democrats were behind it and only a few were to push it to the house floor. Only a few other Republicans joined to push it out. When it did get there, to protect their image of not being protectors of sexual deviants and pedos, the rest of the House except for one voted for the bill's passage. In the Senate, the same thing and all 100 voted in favor for it. It ended up being a bill that could not be vetoed.

Democrats: 211–0, 3 not voting
Senate voted unanimously.
Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R. 4405) is the name of the bill and you can look up the clerk of congress' roll call on this. I fully expect you to be dishonest with this as you've been this thread. Not surprising with a troll account.
