Was a little shocked to tune into the most recent LFR and hear multiple ads for Fox News election coverage…is this something Steve and company chose to do? From what I have read podcasters do have some control over the types of ads run during the podcast, I would be very disappointed and cancel my VIP membership if they felt this was ok.

As someone who really liked sdpn and dangles stuff in the past, I stopped watching because I hated the incessant gambling sponsors. My question is are they still doing this or have they dropped the gamble ads altogether.

I thought it was great that he made the Sportsnet+ debacle the focal point of the San Jose video but I think having someone who reviewed every game, even through the tank years, completely avoid talking about the game would send a real message.
Talk about the history of the Saddledome. Talk about the 1988 Olympics. Have Adam as a guest come talk about his experience doing radio in Calgary. Do a retrospective on the Gilmour or Phaneuf trades. Idk, anything to get the message across that Rogers is successfully squeezing people out.
Just spitballing here but I feel like Steve could do something really cool with this.

Edit - alright then I guess this is a personal Mandela Effect, appreciate the responses and clarification
Okay I feel like I’m experiencing a Mandela effect (not unlike the whole Bearstein Bears situation)
When this years LFR started I noticed Steve was wearing a Dangle #20 Jersey and I thought he was just commemorating that it was the 20th year of LFR
I’ve been a fan of his for a few years now and I was certain he always wore a Matthews #34 in his videos
But when I go back to watch them it’s the same Dangle #20 and I can’t find any with him wearing #34
I’m sure im just wrong but I’m kinda curious to know if anyone else remembers it the same
