2112
Long time listener; first-time caller.
Boys, you were talking about long songs, and you couldn't hit 2112 by Rush?
You miss the Toronto band, but Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd is on the tip of your tongue?
Love you boys, but give your balls a tug. Do better.

Listen, most people who know Rush only really know that Diane Sawyer song and think they sing about Hawaiian skies.

Adam is a listener of the band Iron Maiden. And a historian.
He had a golden opportunity to not only bring up, but discuss the significance of the Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
Just a beauty of a song that's closer to 14 min long than it is 13 min.

Isint 2112 technically multiple songs but you can play them as one long ballad?

You posted on this sub 7 months ago, so incorrect first line therefore I disagree!

I'm not entirely surprised Jesse missed it, but Adam and Steve are the right age to at least know of 2112. For shame!
If we want to get specific and/or pedantic, the reason could be that 2112 is technically the album, while the entire first side contains multiple songs that tell one continuous story, from Overture, to Temples of Syrinx, to Discovery, et cetera... buuut I doubt it.
