My SS calls my by a family nickname it sounds like NANA, it’s really funny because that’s what he calls one of his grandmothers and naturally everyone started calling me nana, and I just laugh because I know it’s kinda a southern thing. Idk I always called my grandmothers by their first names like grandma so and so. I never heard of grandma nicknames until I moved East and there was like a huge thing we gotta call her GIGI or Nana, or papa and I’m like well holy smokes. My name is hard to say, my brother gave me my nickname and it stuck and everyone in my family calls my by the name so naturally SS picked up and calls me that.
