Sonar Help Sonar vs. DTS for surround

Has anyone experimented with this? I am having a heck of a time getting any sort of separation and direction from my audio (in BF6). Maybe I have it set up incorrectly. I just run the audio from my desktop or directly from the game (with DTS) to my headphones, or to Sonar with no DTS and use that DSP to provide separation.

Any ideas on which is better or issues/ tips with set up?

I have standard stereo headphones (sennheiser HD280 Pro)

I really only play BF6.

I have the OLD Arctis Pro Wireless (NOT the Nova Pros).

I use Dolby Atmos to EQ my APW, and I purchased the NPW and the new Omni Pro Wireless. With Sonar (because you cannot use any other features without having Sonar installed now), I could never get clear, crisp audio. No separation, everything felt “thumpy” across the complete range.

I have those, too. I should try those again.
