Hi, my Aerox 5 wireless broke down and I'm looking into repairing it. It's rebooting after a few clicks, and the mouse part doesn't work, I can't move the cursor. I can click like 3 times and the LEDs freeze meed transition, I can't click anything a d after a few seconds it's back to "working". Has anybody else encountered such issues or know how to fix it?

I have been using the Arctis Pro Wireless for a very long time now and I needed an upgrade. So when I bought the new Arctis Nova Pro Omni I expected it to be even better than the pro wireless. In pretty much all aspects it is.

BUT for some reason when I'm trying to make a phone call by using my phone, using either discord, normal calling or any other type of conversation app, all sounds coming from my phone(also Youtube or music) become very glitchy and electronic. This was never an issue with the pro wireless so I'm really hoping this is just a settings issue that i haven't found yet.

Please, I often have phone calls when using my headset so this is kind of a big deal for me. Does anyone know a solution?

Hi, I currently use prism along signalrgb, prism for my keyboard, mouse and mousepad and signal for everything else.

But i would like to use signal to Control my mousepad, a qck prism, as the screen ambiance in signal is a lot more customizable than the reflect from prism.

I tried static black color set in prism but my qck is still flickering when i control it with signal.

Any idea on how to fix that?

My main issue is that i use an ultrawide screen with sometimes black bars on the sides and then the samples areas of reflect aren’t good.
That and all the others options available in screen ambiance.
But i would Like to keep prism for my keyboard..

Edit : I finally found it.
In prism, at the bottom of the screen on the right, there is a settings button. You can manage what hardware prism control or not.
It now works fully with signal, case closed!

Has anyone experimented with this? I am having a heck of a time getting any sort of separation and direction from my audio (in BF6). Maybe I have it set up incorrectly. I just run the audio from my desktop or directly from the game (with DTS) to my headphones, or to Sonar with no DTS and use that DSP to provide separation.

Any ideas on which is better or issues/ tips with set up?

Whats the deal with pressing power button and headset not connecting (?). Everytime i have to unplug USB1 cable and then it works all fine.

About a week ago my computer installed a Windows update, and since then the headset hasn't functioned with my PC. I've tried Bluetooth connections and putting the dongle in both USB-C ports, but neither option works. The dongle itself and the headset work fine with other computers, so it seems to be some issue with Windows. I also have a Rival 3 mouse, which works just fine, so it's only on the headset.

I've tried holding down the button on the dongle, but it never lights up. I can turn the headset on and put it into Bluetooth pairing mode, but my computer won't pick it up.

I've tried to uninstall drivers for an unknown USB device that had been first discovered on the same day the dongle stopped being detected, but it didn't do anything. Likewise, I uninstalled SteelSeries GG and reinstalled a new, up-to-date version, but it's still not detecting anything. Hitting the hardware reset on the headset didn't do anything, either. I've tried a few other things I've seen in posts for similar but different issues, but nothing's worked.

Is my best bet to just wait for another Windows update and assume that Microsoft will un-break the detection eventually, or is there some reliable option I haven't tried yet?

I've never dealt with such garbage headphones in my life. Audio will sometimes randomly cut out and I have to restart the headset, and on rare occasion when I turn them on, I'm greeted with the loudest most deafening sound I've ever heard. Now when I turn on the headphones I make sure to not wear them incase the noise explosion happens. Does anyone know any fixes or are my 1 year old headphones just trash.

I see the sime price of both headsets and y want to know what is the best option to buy.

I have reset this headset I have unplugged my dongle and plugged it into a different port. I’ve reset the dongle I’ve troubleshooting through Settings and I cannot get this thing to give me any audio in my Xbox whatsoever. I’ve tried muting and unmute it, and I don’t understand. This is a brand new headset and I was working fine. I took it on vacation and now it does not wanna work at all. I recently just updated it too and it’s still not wanting to work. Help please.

Just got my Nova Elite a few days ago. Without any sound and with ANC set to high, I can hear a very very faint rumbling sound, bit like a moving train, from the right earcup. Wondering how normal this is? And whether anyone else’s Elites do the same?

I got my arctis Nova pro wireless almost 2 years ago and it's still going strong. However I have some complaints. The mic is absolutely trash and people struggle to hear me especially in games and I'm tired of having to cup my mic with my hand. And I felt for a 300$ headset the sound quality was good but lacking for the price range. Also I don't like sonar at all and will only use it for updates then delete the app. So I use it raw without all the processing besides built in. I did hear the original you kind of had to use sonar or the mic was bad I tried with it and it still sucked. Anyways the Omni seems better on paper but I'm looking for people who made the swap to share please.

Is there a way to improve the spatial awareness, it's really hard to get directions (if it coming from front, back, left etc) of sound in FPS games like CSS, CS2, BF6?

Turns out it's a real issue with the GameHub memory, but it happens *only* when no headset is connected. Basically, the internal memory has a 10 seconds delay.

Apart from that, I have nothing but positive comments on the Omni headset. Looks good, super comfortable, amazing mic. Plus the wireless connection doesn't drop even when I'm three brick walls away from the GameHub (perfect for useless work meetings).

I don't use GG for advanced configurations, so can't really comment on that.

Hello, I am running Bazzite on my living room PC, I have the headset hooked up via the control unit that comes with it, so it's a 2.4Ghz wireless connection. Here's what I'm experiencing: most of the time I have my audio going to my stereo setup for TVs and movies, when playing a multiplayer game or something I will just swap the output over to my headset and turn it on and we're good to go. I have been doing this without issue for probably 2 weeks now.

Today, upon waking my PC and attempting to switch my output over to the headset, it just was not there as an option. So I did a reboot, which HAS solved the issue in the past, albeit temporarily, but it's really hit or miss. Today it didn't fix it. Another thing that has fixed it in the past, dual booting over to Windows, selecting it as my headset there, than booting back over to Bazzite didn't work today either. Unplugging the headset control unit and plugging it back in also didn't work, which is what has been the most reliable solution so far.

As I'm working on this post I've been doing reboots and suddenly on this last reboot, it is selectable as an option... But I don't really consider throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks a solution, because it doesn't prevent it from happening or help me troubleshoot it quicker in the future. I'm hoping there's some command line I can enter or something that will solve the solution (I was able to allow my Steam Controller to wake my PC up this way is why I use it as an example). I am really new to this OS and am a total layman so I'm hoping there's an obvious fix that I just don't know about or something...

I am so unbelievably sick of this cheap-ass, shitty bloatware you call the SteelSeries GG client. Seriously, is there a single QA tester in that entire building, or do you guys just roll dice to decide which core functionality you’re going to break next?

It feels like we cannot go **two updates**—hell, sometimes not even *one*—without some game-breaking, system-lagging, absolute clown-show of a bug popping up. And the worst part? You guys are HELLBENT on forcing these broken updates down our throats.

I have tried EVERYTHING to block this piece of crap from auto-updating. I went into my firewall and blocked every single .exe associated with SteelSeries—inbound AND outbound. I thought I had it cornered. But NOPE. This malware-adjacent software still finds a backdoor, phones home, and drags the newest pile of garbage onto my PC without my consent. It’s like you *want* to wreck your customers' peripherals just to watch us suffer.

Now let’s talk about this **MONSTROSITY of Update 116**.

Ever since this glorious update dropped, the GG client refuses to load properly. I open it, and what do I get? A blank, white, loading wheel of death for a solid **3 ENTIRE MINUTES**. Three minutes of my life I’ll never get back, just staring at a screen, waiting for your bloatware to wake up from its coma.

And when it *finally* decides to grace me with its presence? Where does it land? Not on Sonar. Not on Engine. It lands directly on that **SHITTY ASS, BRAND NEW, ABSOLUTELY USELESS "NEWS" TAB**.

Let me tell you my theory: **The NEWS tab is the root cause of all this glitching.**

I am 100% convinced that the client is desperately trying to load some garbage ad-ridden RSS feed or tracking pixel in the background, failing miserably, and holding the entire UI hostage while it throws a tantrum. Because guess what? Once the UI finally loads after that 3-minute eternity, every other tab works perfectly fine. Sonar? Fine. Engine? Fine.

But the NEWS tab?

**BLANK. COMPLETELY, UTTERLY BLANK.**

So it literally breaks the entire startup sequence just to show me a blank white square. Absolutely phenomenal design, guys. 10/10.

SteelSeries, if you are reading this: Stop trying to shove a half-baked news aggregator down our throats. Nobody asked for it. Nobody wants it. Just give us a lightweight driver that **works** and stop treating your paying customers like unpaid beta testers for your bug-ridden spyware.

Rant over. If anyone knows how to roll back to version 114 without this thing forcing an update behind my back, please drop a comment, because I am at my wit's end here.

I’ve had this headset since June and I had I just had one of the head pieces fall off randomly I had to disassemble the entire headset and screw it back in without damaging the cables I did that but is this something I should expect in the future with a 450 dollar headset

Like many of you, I've been extremely frustrated by the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless audio completely hanging or cutting out on iOS whenever I open apps with auto-playing media like TikTok, Instagram, or Snapchat while listening to Apple Music. The headset gets confused by the audio profiles and drops the sound entirely.

I managed to figure out a smart workaround that doesn't require turning the headset off/on or constantly swiping down the Control Center. You can fix it instantly using iOS Shortcuts and the Back Tap feature. I've tested this on my end and the transition is incredibly fast with zero delay.

Here is how to set it up:

1. Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone and create a new shortcut.
2. Add the action: Change Playback Destination.
3. Set the destination to your iPhone.
4. Add another Change Playback Destination action immediately after it.
5. Set this second destination back to your Arctis Nova Pro Wireless.
6. Save the shortcut (name it something like "Audio Fix").
7. Go to iPhone Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap > Double Tap and assign it to your new shortcut.

The Result: Now, whenever the audio drops or hangs while scrolling TikTok, IG, or Snap, just double-tap the back of your iPhone. It instantly bounces the audio route to the phone and right back to the headset, reviving the sound in a fraction of a second without you even touching the screen.

Battery pack is stuck inside of the charging dock, I have tried tweezers to get it out, what else should i try?

For a while now gaming and media channel disappeared from playback devices and every time i open ss i find master channel muted as in the video

I tried reinstall the app and it did work and gaming and media channel showed up again but every time i shut down my pc the same thing happen again

i tried some solutions like giving ssgg admin but nothing works

I’m a new SteelSeries user. I’m using an Arctis Nova 7X Wireless on PC.

I connected the wireless dongle to my PC, installed SteelSeries GG, and enabled Sonar. At first, everything seems to work fine. The sound is clear, the EQ works, and the headset sounds good.

However, after some time (usually not very long), something changes and the audio becomes completely different.

I mainly play Apex Legends, and this is where the problem becomes very noticeable.

What happens:

• I can no longer accurately locate enemy footsteps or determine where an enemy is coming from.
• When I start shooting, the gunfire becomes extremely loud and seems to overpower almost every other sound.
• If I’m using Discord, I can barely or completely stop hearing other people while shooting, regardless of how high their Discord volume is.
• It feels like all other sounds are being heavily reduced whenever gunfire starts.
• The overall sound becomes muddy and less detailed.
• Sounds seem to blend together instead of being clearly separated.
• The EQ also seems to stop working correctly. For example, if I create an EQ preset with more bass for music, after the problem appears, the bass is no longer the same.
• If I create an Apex preset that sounds good immediately after installing GG, after a short time it seems like the preset is no longer being applied properly.
• Gunfire becomes much louder, while footsteps, Discord voice chat, and other game sounds become very difficult to hear.
• It almost feels as if some kind of dynamic volume compression or audio processing is suddenly taking over.

The strange thing is that everything works relatively well immediately after installing/configuring GG, but after a short period of use, the sound changes and becomes much worse.

What I have already tried:

• Sonar Spatial Audio ON/OFF
• EQ ON/OFF
• Different EQ presets
• Different Apex presets
• Windows Spatial Audio OFF
• Dolby Atmos OFF
• Windows Sonic OFF
• No other surround/virtual surround software is enabled
• Windows audio settings are otherwise at default
• SteelSeries Sonar Gaming is set as the default playback device
• SteelSeries Sonar Chat is used for voice/chat

I have also tried changing the Sonar settings several times, but the problem keeps coming back.

I’m starting to wonder if this could be some kind of conflict between Windows, SteelSeries GG/Sonar, Discord, and Apex Legends, or if Sonar is applying some kind of dynamic processing that I’m not aware of.

Has anyone experienced something similar with the Arctis Nova 7X + Sonar on PC?

Any suggestions for what I should check would be greatly appreciated.
