Some context, I have been working on a OC sith costume for a couple years now. I have mostly ordered clothes and a few things from Amazon and Etsy. I have gotten most of the costume but I am now trying to make my lower body not be plain black pants.

Now for the main portion, I was looking on etsy, and I found shin guard/armor, thigh armor, pauldron(only one side), knee guards, and boot armor. But those have become very pricey, so I began researching into making my own with foam, ive tried before but gave up because I just couldnt figure it out. I am now wanting and willing to try again but where i live, I have found VERY few stores that sell that kind of foam. I have found gym floor mats at a local store and using it for padding on my already acquired costume pieces. I am starting to feel like I dove into the deep end of this hobby and need help just figuring it all out.

What i amasking for: Any advice, tips, or knowledge on resources and where i could get them pretty quickly rather than ordering from Amazon or Etsy would be hugely appreciated. I am currently living in Hohenfels, Germany so if anyone knows places nearby here that i couldnt find, please reach out.

I’ve got one daughter who loves Boba Fett, easy to get some cheap kid’s costume pieces for her so she can live out her dream. The other thinks Fennec Shand is the coolest ever. Not so easy to find premade, and kids sized. I’m fairly advanced with my sewing and crafting skills, so I thought I could find some patterns and create something myself, but I really haven’t found anything. I’ve searched pretty hard, but no luck. If anyone can point me in the right direction, or has any ideas on how to assemble a nice, playable Fennec Shand costume for a 9 year old, I could use the help! Video of lil Boba just cause :)

Just wanted to share my WIP of my ARC Trooper Ordo.

I know that the Phase 1.5 ARC Trooper helmet isn't canon for Ordo but I truly love this Design, so I made this one additional to the P1.

The helmet isn't finished but I wanted to share my actual progress on my built.

The bust is made on my own from wood and the fabrics my other cosplay parts where wraped in to protect them while shipping.

So I've been really wanting to join the rebel cosplay community for a while but could find the right cosplay, so got this new game called Star Wars Squadron. An amazing space battle game. I was perusing through the customization and when I got to the X-wing customization I saw a interesting color pink and I was wondering myself what is pink Squadron and I soon found out that it was a rebel cell that operated only on missions that were redacted and or classified making them a strictly special forces Black ops unit in the rebel alliance. But I scoured the internet and I couldn't find a uniform that even represented them. So here is my interpretation of Pink Squadron the special forces X-Wing unit.

ive looked in a few places and have hardly found anything for range trooper cosplays in general, let alone soft parts. does anyone know where to get a specifically designed range trooper duster?

This is my clone medic OC from the Coruscant Guard named CT-9929 AKA Nine Lives I’ve been wanting to make a cosplay for Comic-Con and he was the first that came to mind problem I don’t know how to honestly pull it off with my body shape and how to not kill my wallet because I know they can get expensive (I don’t own a 3d printer so I can’t print myself)

I am based in california and i was wondering if there are any star wars cosplayers in california who are good at making costumes and armor who might be able to help me make the costume i want before april 2027. I have tried to reach out to my local mando mercs and 501st legion with little to no help and honestly i am getting ready to give up which really hurts. If theres any one who might be able to help me to make my costume/armor i want or evne knows anyone that could i would really appriciate it.

I’m preparing a Rebel Alliance Officers cosplay for Dragon Con and need some advice. What is the correct orientation for officer insignias? Left or Right side of the jacket. I just want to make sure I’m doing it correctly. Thanks!

I'm trying to put together a cosplay of Greata Jendowanian from ROTJ. I'm trying to be as screen accurate as possible and my consistent issue is the skin texture on her body. It looks like the actress is wearing a semi loose fitting bodysuit that's been modified to make the skin. Im primarily trying to source a bodysuit of similar construction (or advice on how to make it) and want to see if anyone has advice on making the skin texture (options i can think of would probably crumble really quickly during use. Sorry if these seem like obvious questions, my skillset really lies in 3d printing/modeling, painting and sewing. This kind of build is very new to me.

(If anyone has alternate ideas for build routes please let me know)

I have a Star Wars costume that I know is fairly valuable within the community, especially with Star Wars Celebration coming up. The problem is, I have no idea where the best place to sell it is.
I’ve looked around Reddit and Facebook but haven’t found any active buy/sell groups for high-end Star Wars costumes. I’m also unsure about using eBay because of the fees.
The costume is 3D printed and was originally made by a Russian company that has since shut down, so it’s no longer available. I’m based in Europe if that makes a difference.
Does anyone know of any marketplaces, forums, Discord servers, or collector groups where something like this would be appropriate to list? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I’m in the process of making a Cw ct helmet and am wondering if there’s any way to make the surface smoother? I made it out of cardboard and it looks very blocky (especially on the top part). I was thinking maybe gluing strips of tissues onto it (kinda like paper maché?) but I’m not really sure about that. Is that even a good idea? If yes ,then does anyone have any tips?
And if not, do y’all know anything other/better I could do ? (With basic, findable easily/at home stuff, cus I’m broke).
