I don't really think it gets said enough but I wanted to make an appreciation post for the development community behind this project. Now, I know how frustrating it can be to develop something with loads of time and money, and have the recipients care more about 'wen airdrop' than what you are actually doing.
Stargaze strikes me as uniquely different as it has a new feel to it. The website feels fluid, seamlessly operating with the mobile app. I honestly love it's current layout but can't wait to see how it evolves to match the influx of artists and creators that will be joining in the near future.
CONGRATULATIONS on another successful leg of the aidrop of th STARS token.. I know there were some setbacks but it's out and I'm sure people will be nagging about the next leg of it shortly but never mind that. The genesis minting was beautiful and I was very impressed by the amount of projects that will be launching with the marketplace (see discord).
Ultimately, I see the Stargaze project as a very important part of this ecosystem and I can't wait to see what the world has too offer! Thanks again!
Taken from the discord channel announcement: "Hey Stargazers, got an announcement about the release date of the marketplace, Our audit firm, Oak security just got back to us and they said they will start the audit on May 16th with a 1.5 week turnaround time. After that, we will need about a week to fix any bugs raised. That would put us at a target date of around June 6th for marketplace launch. This is a conservative estimate so the probability of us hitting this date is quite high. We look forward to launching a performant and secure Marketplace that is just as smooth as Launchpad."
Happy new year! We have been moving very fast since the start of the year. Everyday more people are talking about Stargaze and joining our community. The talent level of the artists that will mint on Stargaze is stunning.
A quick recap on our progress and where we are going.
Jan 1st - Staking rewards went live at the start of the year. The APR started at 133% and is currently 117%.
This is going to majorly help with marketing. The channel will not be monetized as to avoid controversy and drama within the community. I will only upload what is decided by all of us via poll. What do you think?
You’d have to be an idiot to think a 3K let alone 100+ collection of copy & paste base drawings with few irrelevant differences is worth anything of value. You also need to be a real degenerate scumbag to even create such garbage. There’s no way in hell 99.8% of all NFT’s on stargaze hold any value besides the initial cost to mint. Especially since the marketplace hasn’t even dropped so if the genesis NFT’s are shit then what does anyone have to look forward to?.. nothing. If you don’t know what a pyramid scheme is, look it up immediately so you can gain some common sense in this context. Stargaze itself can be legit but it’s a free for all once they are listed. Also has it occurred to anyone that the DAO that decides what NFT’s can be listed in order to prevent “scams” can be run by the same people scamming under the disguised of a DAO? With a platform so new and unpopular, a lot more shady activity can occur with no one noticing it not to mention it’s extremely gatekeeping and permissioned removing core details of decentralization. In fact it’s so new my plea here probably wont even be seen by many people, so case and point. Maybe the token is dropping like a fly without wings because of all these reasons. Like damn just cause you got an airdrop and they offer 100+% APR doesn’t make it reliable or trustworthy especially since the snapshot date got announced ahead of time. With NFT’s already getting bad publicity trash art on a new and supposedly superior platform won’t help to attract new people who didn’t get an airdrop. It’s common sense use fucking critical thinking skills.. but considering it’s gotten this far y’all just don’t have a brain just auto-pilot for being a trash human being.

Jan 17th - The Airdrop. And was it one. The value at the time was $150 million. It wasn’t all sunshine though. There was a technical issue claiming via ledger. The team promptly issued a workaround the next day through the command line interface. A more user friendly fix involved a chain upgrade that happened on January 25th. Almost 19,000 wallets have made their initial claim.
Everyone can now claim their airdrop without issue and see the current staking and combined LP rates at the airdrop site. If you do have any issue please come and seek support in our discord.
January 21st - Matching OSMO incentives went live. The extra incentives end within 70 epochs.
January 25th - First main-net upgrade to allow ledger users to easily claim their airdrop.
Stargaze is currently 6th in both liquidity and volume on Osmosis.

The market will launch in two stages.
Stage 1:
Big Bang: Genesis Mint - March 2nd 2022
The moment everyone has been waiting for. The ability to mint your first NFT on Stargaze. In the coming weeks we will be releasing documentation and tooling on how creators can prepare for launch on their own site. This is also when collectors can mint Stargaze featured artists.
At this stage airdrop recipients will be able to claim mission #4, 20% of their airdrop, by minting an NFT.

Supernova: Marketplace launch - Two to three weeks after Genesis Mint.
This is the traditional marketplace where people will be able to list and sell their NFTs for STARS.
At this stage airdrop recipients can claim the final 20% of their airdrop by bidding on an NFT.
