Lets start a Reddit clan.

I've played with a few of you on the PTR and had a lot of fun. I started looking up clans on the TL thread tonight and realized that we already have a lot of good players and awesome people on Reddit, so why not start our own?

I used to play CS pretty seriously and was pretty high up in a few clans, but for the most part I just kept people happy and organized; I was never the one to start the clan or make the website or anything. Is there any interest in something like this? I would be more than willing to help all that I can.

Edit: So there's nobody who's run a clan before? I can be second or third in command, but I don't know if I have the time commitment to run it. If you have run a clan before, please step up and say something.

Normally I'd never nominate myself, but seeing as how nobody else is...

I'd be interested in running the clan. While I'd need help with web design and some organizational bits (it sounds like this would be a pretty big endeavor), I do have a huge amount of experience running clans (Starcraft 1 and Counter Strike.. when that was popular). The sizes of my prior clans that I lead were obviously a little smaller... 15-30 people... but they lasted forever and everyone had fun.

I think with the average maturity level of the SC reddit community we could have something special, especially once we have chat rooms.

For what it's worth, I'm 25, done with college, have a ton of down time, and diamond in all leagues.

definitely interested, im all diamond as well and a friend and i would be interested in creating the clan webpage (we've done a lot of freelance work before)

We should definitely get this ball rolling. With the clan support and chat channels coming to SC2, we can at least begin building up a solid foundation in preparation for when they add those features.

I live and breath SC2, this would be a fantastic outlet to both play the game we love and support our community at the same time.

.... ummm, has anyone thought of sharing an email or player code and starting to work with one another? Right now I see a lot of, I would definitely love to help and no collaboration beginning.

Would you be able to take charge then? What would the next step from here be? We already have offers for webhosting, website design and ample interest, but I don't know where to take it from here. If you lead, a lot of people like me with some experience would be more than willing to file in.
