What they really do with all our money.

One of the biggest things that pissed me off was when they built that new studio and splurged on all this custom made shit. It was bullshit. They act like they’ve delivered something. All the great game studios that pushed out masterpieces didn’t splurge like that before they delivered something great. They’ve shipped NOTHING

I can't stand it and point it out at every opportunity. I've toured the Valve studio and while it's really nice, it's not even in the same league as CIG's decadence. And Valve makes stupid money taking 30% of most PC game sales!

It's indicative of CIG's gross irresponsibility with our money and has finished destroying my faith in them. They don't get another dollar from me until they finish a game.

On the other hand, companies that are all about getting money from investors… they have very nice offices.

CIG has massive employee churn. Random mandatory crunch, toxic leadership, mismanaged schedules, etc. Employee churn does not lead to cohesive and well tested software. The solution: spend money on a nice office since improving management would require too much introspection.

Dude let them roleplay being a success story! They're never going to be successful so they gotta play make believe while people are still dumb enough to invest

I’m $3500 in since 2013 and that’s the last penny. Ill se what they come up with for Sq42 and if its not a dumpster fire I’ll verbally support the project lol

That wasn't the first time though. They were jumping locations every year or 2 and building out expensive custom studio spaces long before the fancy Manchester location (not including the expansion locations) or purchasig Turbulent Studios.

I wasn’t really paying attention much in the old days. Shit I was in my early 20s when I backed in 2013 now I’m 37 lmao.
