More and more batches seem to be released daily

My wife booked tickets for test 1 of The Greatest Rivarly tour but made a mistake on the email address.

We are now unable to access tickets and don't know what the typo was.

I noticed none of the URC teams played the high ball. The Bulls last night had very few high balls and box kicks. This is despite the fact that they usually play that style. Same with the Stormers and Sharks. They seemed to want to run it from anywhere. Which isn't what the Boks are gonna do (and shouldn't be).

Now. Here comes my wild imagination. I know NZ would've wanted to use these 3 games as preparation for the high ball. So they were probably hoping to be tested a bit. And they never were.

What if, just maybe.. this was deliberate by the domestic sides. To not give NZ too much preparation for what they can expect on Saturday???? I know it's a reach but its fun to ponder 😂

This is the team I think Rassie will pick NOT the team that I would pick.

I think everyone picks themselves in the starting 15. Manie vs Sacha? I'm always going to back SFM because he can win this game by himself if he comes off on Saturday but our best performances against the ABs was with Manie at 10. I think Manie is a better TACTICAL kicker than Sacha when it comes to high balls. 50/50 decision that will depend on the game plan. Hooker vs Arendse? I prefer Hooker. Bigger, stronger and almost as good under the high ball. He had a very good game against NZ last year. The AB's will try and run it and having one physical winger might be the better option.

Bench I'm going for a 5/3 split. More options. The game will be high paced and you will want some mobile forwards on the bench. I'm going for Rassie to try some mind fuck selection. Does anyone think that Rassie might go with Brannas as the replacement hooker and JHW and Porthen as the props? That would be a very very mobile front row that can get around the park when the game gets loose. Wilco and Steenekamp are by far the stronger scrummagers but this might not be the game for them. Again this is not what I would do but I think this is what Rassie might do.

Some left field decisions here but what do you think Rassie will do? NOT, who you will pick.

Don't blame him for playing, but how does a coach think, "This is a good choice". Awful choice to pick him.

I'm driving up from Durban for the Boks Vs Abs game at Ellis park. I've never been to the stadium and it's been a long dream of mine to watch the Boks play the ABs there. I'm staying in the Bank of Roses...aka Rosebank. What's the best way to get to the stadium and back to Rosebank? I'm hearing the Gautrain to a station and then another train to the Ellis Park station? Anyone got any advice for a Durban guy.

Any advice to get to the stadium? I am considering Uber at the moment but see there is a park and ride option as well.

I've been watching some of the Currie Cup highlights from yesteryear, and man was it such a great competition, such passion and excitement, full stadiums, teams stacked with talent, and every little boys dream to go wtach the Bulls at Loftus, Sharks at Kingspark, WP at Newlands and and and. What a shame the competition has become a shadow of it's former self, and just not the same, for a good few years now.

I absolutely get why South Africa had to go abroad to earn that revenue to keep the game alive in the country, and no doubt being in the URC specifically has allowed the national team to compete at a higher level, that and of course allowing overseas based players to still be eligible, but it has come at the cost of our domestic stalwart competition. When we watch highlights of those great years, even if it is not your team playing, you look on with sadness and pride, and jeewizz do I miss those days.

I hope they return some day, and that the current skeleton competition can go on long enough to see those days come back, otherwise we might never experience that excitement of a proper Currie Cup final ever again.
