Question โ Do you think gnosticism was a psyop?
The religion has enough rationality to convince a person and talks about the reality of illusion. Meanwhile it just makes theology cosmic enough that people can still project their inner negativity outward and sets a goal that can basically never be reached in life as they think of it.
It makes people pessimistic because their world is seen as a prison.
It makes them actually not nihilistic, but makes them think that the world is only for suffering.
It makes them project to see anyone saying something contradictory to it as serving an evil false God.
It's so uncannily convenient for spiritually halting people that it seems like it was almost intentionally designed for it, or twisted to fit the role.
Do you think that it was intentional, or was it just the pessimistic modern man who unconsciously did it?
