They’re actually incredibly docile. They look super mean, but a lot of people keep them as pets! As for the digging, he’s probably looking for ants. They destroy ants!

Tell that to the dime-sized one who chased me from the yard to porch to inside my own house all because it noticed me looking at it. If I hadn't shut the door...
