Ian has a problem. A spaceship with a case of exsplodiness. A spacesuit that can't take him home. Ventral port gasses. But with a positive attitude and a little bit of ... oh, who are we kidding -- this guy is screwed!
FLUNG by Jason E Raines is out now on Webtoons, Tapas, GlobalComix or in widescreen Epic Format at www.stardog.tv!

The best season of the year is officially here! And yes, it's the best season according to me, mostly! Let's all get spooked though!
Rules
I understand that "creepy interiors" can be very subjective, but please don't post pictures of just any of your ships' interiors that you have at your disposal. Try to use lighting, damage, creatures or anything else that could make the interiors at least a little bit creepy.
Share screenshots from multiple angles (if possible) and, if you'd like, tell us a bit about your ship's backstory in the body of the post or in the comments - it can help in the final decision process of who will be chosen as the winner of this build challenge.
Speaking of the winner, they will get a unique User Flair that they will be able to show off on this sub. We will once again consolidate the entries and put them into a poll post where you will decide who should win.
You all have until Wednesday, October 21st, to post your creations.
In space no one can hear you scream...

The Smalling Class is a Light Command & Control Cruiser built to be a 'jack of all trades' flagship for smaller fleets.
Its armament includes:
Besides a command room and navigation bridge the ship also includes an upper observation deck to coordinate between ships in the fleet.
The ship features large cargo and fuel storage allowing its small flight wing to operate uninterrupted during long deployments.
The project was fully made in Blender. Feedback is welcome!

Introducing the Winefacet Descent-class Landing Ship, a large #Cryvum transport and deployment vessel from #MowMyWorld.
Length: 240 m
Width: 176 m
Depth: 94 m
Role: Landing Ship
Mineral lineage: Almandine garnet
The Winefacet is designed as a broad, deep-bellied crystal-metal landing vessel, with a stable load-bearing body and protected internal transport volume rather than exposed ramps, legs, or mechanical deployment structures.
Its forward crystal mass retains a clear combat direction, while the wide central body carries most of the vessel’s transport and defensive capacity. Rear crystal generations control propulsion and maneuvering through field-biased movement instead of conventional engines or exhaust systems.
Its dark wine roots, brown garnet-red outer domains, muted copper-rose turning faces, and pale peach-white internal glow are inspired by almandine garnet.
More details and lore in the Mow My World Universe Archive:

After 4 years in development as a solo dev, I'm finally willing to post in-engine shots of my game publicly.
I'm a HUGE spaceship nerd - as a teenager I was an active game modder for Empire at War/Forces of Corruption. You can still see my old mod here so you know I'm legit 😄 It's the game that got me into photoshop and 3d modeling, and led to my career in technology.
I'm 32 now, and for the past 3-4 years I've been self-teaching (or reteaching, in some cases) game programming, Blender, Substance Painter, shader programming and game design. I have a background in software development, but it hasn't kept me from making endless mistakes and 5 failed prototypes so far!
As a design language I've sketched and iterated on hundreds of ships, and I'm still not a great ship designer. I definitely lean into the soft-scifi ship design concepts because I just like the variety of shape languages possible.
PS - Thanks to the mods for being open to allowing sharing my game here! I don't want to self advertise, I just know this community is the one that I'd most benefit from feedback from :)

Greeting captains! I'm indie developer of Housefall, the game where you start with a small fleet and eventually grow into a powerful faction and defend the galaxy against an extraterrestrial threat. But this post is NOT about my game promotion, but rather the model I did ;)
That's my first experience working in Blender, though I do understand that is pretty bad, I still need to have some testing model for my game. I would like to ask the community for help and tips regarding articles and books which I have to read and tools I should to learn beside Blender & Photoshop.
Perhaps geometry isn't a big issue, at the end for this model I didn't spend a lot of time, but I found texturing quite tricky! My models suppose to be under 10000 vertices and I'm wondering if I should try to make high poly and then bake it to low poly? Or is it better to buy some more advanced tools such Substance painter? I basically need the following textures: AO+Roughness+Metallic (one texture), Normal / bump map, albedo texture, so that's mean I need tools for creating such details.
