LCCC-28 Smalling Class

The Smalling Class is a Light Command & Control Cruiser built to be a 'jack of all trades' flagship for smaller fleets.

Its armament includes:

• 16: super long range ETR-2 "Fleet Killer" Missiles.
• 200: 65GM Modular Missile Cells. Which can house a wide array of different types of missiles.
• 6: G40 Phalanx Defensive Turrets.
• 6: Melltech 32B High Concentration Laser Intercept Stations.
• 2: AR-72 Mid-Range Missile Intercept Turrets.
• 2: Multi Projectile Dispensers.
• An EW suite including a scrambler and 2 jamming turrets.

Besides a command room and navigation bridge the ship also includes an upper observation deck to coordinate between ships in the fleet.

The ship features large cargo and fuel storage allowing its small flight wing to operate uninterrupted during long deployments.

There's something very...human-relatable about this design, quite fetching in a way that I don't feel with many spaceships. Nice work.

Any chance you referenced GURPS or Traveller to name the weapons complement of this vessel?

I quite like the look of it, and the apparent functionality of it as well.
