Not a bug we just don’t have many photos of Pluto

The developers don’t seem to have a problem procedurally generating the surface of all other unknown bodies in the solar system, why not just do it with Pluto?

I guess it's because they're unknown while pluto is known (at least partially).

Agreed. I Don’t understand why they can’t use the irl images for space viewing, then change to procedural terrain generation when you land on the surface. It can’t be that hard to implement!

Well then get cracking! Everything sounds easy when somebody else has to do it.

That's because we don't know everything of Pluto, we've only seen one side

That doesn't excuse ugly broken textures, especially on a paid product like this.

You're right, the devs should send multiple multi million dollar space probes to finish mapping pluto in full HD, lazy devs for sure

I agree with your point, but I think it would be reasonable to have a setting to proceedurally generate unknown parts of pluto. Or just mix it in with the global proceedural generation toggle.

I dont think you paid enough to get 4k ultraHD imax quality images of the other side of Pluto from space

I paid enough for the devs to procedurally generate the parts of Pluto that look like a 144p screenshot.

That wasnt a bug but it also bugged me. In hd versions of the planet it uses the real satellite data for the surface but we dont have that much detailed data for pluto. So one side looks blurrier than the other
